Well...that assumes they were where they were "supposed" to be...but I guess that early on, they had no suspicions to the contrary.They essentially knew they were roughly a few thousand miles or so, from Sydney. All I really remember is Arzt coming over to the raft & telling them that they were on the cusp of monsoon season, & giving them some rant about needing to get launched before the trade winds shifted from northerly to southerly, otherwise they would have to wait four months, before they could launch, in order to not end up heading toward Antarctica![]()
