Your Recent Beaten Games...

Tales of Monkey Island: Episode 2
Sam & Max Season 2: Episode 2
Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath

I just beat maybe the worst game I've ever played. It's Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal for the 360. I was only playing it because I have some cartoonish games that my 3 year old son likes to hold the other controller and think he's playing, so it was some fun time together, and probably a more appropriate game for him than Dead Rising or Saints Row.

I just beat Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. I'm loving this series, even if the solutions to the big mysteries ended up being eerily similar between the two games.

Halo 3 : ODST

Played split screen co-op with a friend and it was pretty decent, only HALO game I have really ever liked though I doubt I could play owt else but CO-OP on it without beocoming bored.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Didn't feel like getting the last Joker teeth and finishing the challenges, because I suck at combos. I was up to about 96% completion tho.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

(I decided to hold off replaying inFamous so I don't get burnt out on it. I think I'm going to play Silent Hill: Homecoming to waste time until Uncharted 2: Among Thieves comes out Tuesday)

Just finished Fallout 3. Enjoyed it so much, that I'm gonna play through it again!

Thinking about getting that for 360 but I heard the combat is awful.
Fallout 3 is a fantastic game, perhaps my favourite this console generation. I'm currently at around 100 hours of game time so far and still not finished it and it's the first and only game I've bought all the DLC packs for.

Recently finished (not 100% completion) Uncharted, Halo 3 ODST, Batman Arkham Asylum.

It depends on whether you're looking for a shooter or an RPG. The shooting mechanics aren't very good, certainly not when compared to something like Call of Duty, but then it's not really meant to be played like that. If you play the game using the VATS system (as you should) then you'll find that it's entertaining and fun... if you like RPG's.

I'd say it's similar to the whole Mass Effect crappy shooter/good rpg combat thing.

I just finished The Bourne Conspiracy. It had the most abrupt ending to a game I've played in years.

I also just finished Resistance 2, despite having owned it for over a year. I played 30 minutes of it half a year ago and put it down cus I thought it was badly designed. I still think so, but it's fun nonetheless. You just have to turn the difficulty waaaaaaaaay down.

Played through Quantum Of Solace in a few hours. It was an OK shooter, good for relieving stress by blowing the crap out of things, but all the way through my mind was just obsessed with the missed opportunities, and stuff they didn't do.

The gameplay's very samey, there's no driving levels or Bond Moments - it's all just shooting against waves of enemies, with the occasional QTE moment - most of which are thankfully optional, as I tended to sneak up to about 10 feet from enemies while in stealth mode and shoot them in the head with a silenced weapon instead of going for the QTE takedowns.

Actually it felt mostly like Stranglehold, in that there are lots of bits of scenery to shoot in order to take out enemies with "stylish kills", and a set-piece in a museum. Didn't really feel Bond-like.

The main flaw, though, is the choice of levels. Aside from some of the action highlights like the opening car chase being just a cinematic, and the plane chase being told in voiceover, the game even manages to avoid including the best bits of its own tone. By this I mean that while the game is all about taking cover and shooting up attacking enemies, it bizarrely doesn't adapt the embassy scene from CR, which is the one bit in the films covered that actually feels like the rest of the game!

It was better than the FRWL game, but, really, I spent most of my time wishing for a good car chase level or a gadget other than a Sony cellphone (oh, yeah, product placement- all the screens and cellphones have the Sony logo on, but *nothing* else has even a fictional company logo - even the drinks cans and dispensers just have a coloured pattern but no name)

6/10

But I only paid £8.99 for it, so I'm OK with it on that level.

I completed Operation Flashpoint 2 on Experienced a few days ago. Am now going through it on Hardcore in both the Co-op and single player campaigns.

I recently beat Gun on normal difficulty. The final boss fight was annoying as all hell, so I won't be going back to beat it on another difficulty. They made the game so that to get all of the achievements, you have to play it on the four different difficulties. No thanks.
