Peter Petrelli, same basic reason as I voted for Sylar in the other thread. The characters are great, the actors are either great in one case or not terribly talented but well suited to the part in the other (I will allow yall to decide which is which

) and the fact that they have to battle horrible writing on top of everything else just makes me all the more sympathetic to their cause, even if Peter has had it better than everyone else this season.
Second best: Matt Parkman. He's just a great personality type to give those particular powers to, both ill-suited and perfectly suited at the same time. Hopefully when the show comes back, they will think of something to do with him other than lecture his girlfriend about the finer points of morality (while blithely ignoring everyone's civil rights - that obliviousness is one of his most interesting and disturbing traits) and talk to turtles.
Of the "normal" superheroes, I like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Edward Norton's Bruce Banner the best and am very much looking forward to seeing them in the same movie together, that's the plan, right?
The one I have the most hopes and fears about: Captain America. Done right, he could be incredible, but it's so easy to blow it. Arghh...
Of the heroes who have never been portrayed by an actor, my favorite is Warlock/The Magus. How's that for obscure?
