No smoking, very little alcohol, and only occasional use of aspirin and OTC drugs brought it up. My somewhat less-than-satisfactory diet brought it down some.

I got almost the exact same results as you, except for the opposite reasons!

A friend of mine e-mailed me this link to an on-line test that supposedly measures one's life expectancy. I don't know how accurate it is. It says that my virtual age is 32.1 and that I might live to be 76.1. How sad ... I can't believe I'd live to be that old. J/K

Ridiculous, seeing as how my virtual age is 10 1/2 and I'm a 24 year old man. A bit shocking that 1-2 drinks a day didn't seem to hurt me all that much . According to this bad boy test I'm shooting for 87!!

Well, I went back and redid it, this time I was able to more accurately gauge what the questions meant and was able to give more accurate responses, this time not hedging my answers and being more optimistic, instead choosing to just lay it all out and see what the little test would tell me. That being said, I had:

Pretty odd considering I smoke and drink like it's going out of style. But pretty much everything else was good and I have some exceptionally long-lived relatives.

The test was okay. Mostly based on junk science and statistics, of course. Some things were outright wrong --- for instance, family history needs to count a heck of a lot more. Also, it's been shown that overweight people live the longest, with the morbidly obese and morbidly thin living the shortest (reverse J curve with minimum in the overweight BMI category). So taking away a year for being overweight isn't correct.

EDIT: I realize my numbers are strangely low, and it's because I don't smoke, barely ever drink and rarely to excess, have no family history of heart disease or other diseases, have abnormally low blood pressure, and am healthy as a horse. Also, the life expectancy of members of my family is 90+ (we've had a few people attempt to graze 100, but they always quit a few years before, dagnabbit).
