Your Ideal "Justice League" Movie Casting

Admiral Archer

What would be your ideal casting for a Justice League film? Note that this line-up can be made up of whichever superheroes you wish to include, and does not have to adhere to the DCEU line-up specifically. Also, disregard all other superhero castings. THIS IS YOUR OWN CANON. You can also post a brief summary of your movie, if you feel like it. Here's mine (and my dad's) picks:

Superman - Patrick Warburton
Batman - Dylan McDermott
Wonder Woman - Gina Carano
Green Lantern - Nathan Fillion
The Flash - Chris Pine
Aquaman - Anthony Rapp

Also, you get to pick your own villain!

Ra's Al Ghul - Benedict Cumberbatch

This thread is probably much more appropriate for the Science Fiction & Fantasy forum, so stand by for transport...

I don't have an ideal casting for this film. Come to think of it, I don't have one for the Avenges film as well. Do you?

I'm curious to see what we've got now (though not in theaters). I do think Gadot is perfect, Cavill is great, Affleck seems solid so far and Momoa certainly looks awesome. The rest are wait and see.

I wouldn't really know who to pick in terms of casting my own version anyway, but I definitely can say what version of the league I'd've liked to see:

Batman
Superman
Wonder Woman
Martian Manhunter
Steel
Flash
Green Lantern
Aquaman

Preferrably also with cameos or something from an extended family of heroes (Nightwing, Supergirl, Vibe, etc).

As for villains, i've never been that well read on most dc villains outside of Gotham, so the best thing I could come up with would be a team of villains (Maybe Grodd, Luthor, Sinestro... I don't know who else, really).

I liked Gadot in BvS but thought she was wooden and bland in WW. I’ve no idea really who I’d cast.

Cavill is physically perfect for Superman and plays him just right when he gets the material (eg when he picks up the soldier and asks ‘are you ok?’ in MOS. Sadly, the character is often written too dourly for any actor to shine but that’s not his fault.

Affleck is fine as Batman but my concern about his casting was always that it made little sense to have a Batman so much older than Superman; always thought it would mean he might have a limited shelf life in the role and if whispers are to be believed, that looks to be the case.

Haven’t seen enough of the other stars of JL to form a view.

Quite happy with what cast has been announced so far. Gadot, Cavill, Jason Momoa and Erza Miller are perfect for their roles. Not sure with Affleck, right at the moment. He did a lot of work with JL, as it felt like he was the backbone of the team.

Anyways, with the other roles - there are so many. Getting the right Hal Jordan is important, as he'll part of the sequel (and maybe some movies).
