Your First or Greatest Cartoon Crush

Just as the topic title indicates, what was your first or greatest cartoon crush? What character made you think warm and sappy thoughts, whether for the first time, or one that you still crush on even today?

It's perfectly normal to have a crush on a cartoon, as people have crushes on many things, both real and imagined. So don't be embarrassed, don't be ashamed, or timid, and if you consider yourself a freak, well let your freak flag fly here. I'm not going to judge!

I'll start:

My first cartoon crush was at the age of 9 (way back in 1989), and it was Gadget Hackwrench from Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers.

She was smart, cute, and funny. She had a sweet personality, and I just fell in love with her. I didn't care if she was a mouse (I still don't care), I just knew she was awesome, and I wanted to marry her someday.

Ever since then, I've had many crushes, but she was the first.

Not sure if I had a cartoon crush, as far as that goes I tended toward live action. But I though Judy Jetson was really cute, due in large part to the wonderful Janet Waldo.

It sure was! For a kid who loved fantasy and sci-fi, it was everywhere!

Janet Waldo played the rambunctiously pseudo-adult teenager with great aplomb. I can see why you would feel that way, and yes, Judy was adorable.

^ Oh my, I see what you mean! Which brings me to ask: is there anyone who has a current crush on any cartoon characters? I have a number of them, myself. My biggest one is probably Twilight Sparkle, and before you look at me like that, you have to keep in mind that Tara Strong (the voice actor) knows that Twilight is extremely adorkable, and purposely exploits this!

I wouldn't have remembered had you not posted this but Princess (oh 80's localization...lol EDIT: 70's actually, dammmmn) might have been mine. While her hero outfit was wonderfully mini I think I liked her even more in green-haired 70's chick mode.

Probably no surprise then that this was another crush at the time...
