Your Favourite U.S.S. Enterprise Moment ??

There was an episode where the Enterprise-D was trapped in some sort of anomaly and had to be guided through it with the shuttle craft. There are some good shots of the Enterprise with its saucer lights and nav deflector glowing brightly through a misty nebula.

It made the ship look very majestic and was one of the few instances where you got the sense of just how big that ship really is.
I was going to mention this. Very underrated....

TOS: The Galileo Seven after the events of the episode have transpired. Kirk says something that gets a dry response from Spock and everyone on the bridge laughs it up. I always did like that scene at the end.

Just thought of another one. I loved the scene in Star Trek 2009 where the Enterprise emerges from the clouds of Titan with Saturn in the background. What a great shot!

TMP Kirk & Scotty's Travel Pod inspection of the 1701-refit in drydock.

These AND ST4:TVH when our beloved crew think they are getting either a crap ship or Excelsior.... then they pass Excelsior and see The Good Ole NCC-1701-A!!:techman:

i'll admit to loving the FC scene where the Ent E dwarfs the Defiant in front of the Borg cube... that was damn cool...

though both of my favorite Enterprise D scenes were from Generations...

1. Where the bird of pray decloaks, and Riker simply stands up and says 'fire'... brilliant external shot from the BOP's point of view of the Ent D firing a photon right down their throat...

2. After the saucer separation, where the saucer is coming down to crash... lovely shots all the way through of the Ent D saucer skidding along the ground like a pebble with Data screaming 'ohhh s#!t!!!' all the way down lol

Nobody has mentioned NX-01 yet. Can anybody think of some great moments for the first starship to bear the name?

Also unmentioned: the cheesy but charming animated Enterprise. Hooray for shoestring budgets!

How about STIII when Enterprise enters the starbase, and Janice Rand looks at the burn marks on the side of the ship and shakes her head...I still laugh at that one.

The end of STVI where Enterprise and Excelsior leave orbit and go their separate ways.

I've got one - when the NX-01 used the grappler to snag a D5's nacelle, keeping them out of the sights of the disruptors, and eventually disabling the D5 by bending the nacelle a bit.

They've already been mentioned, but a few of my faves have already been mentioned.
One of my favorites that hasn't been specifically mentioned, was origionally in TMP, and reused in TWOK, where the Enterprise comes in from the bottom, and the camera spins around following the ship as it goes on its way into warp speed. I thought it was majestic and beautiful, like the refit Enterprise herself.

NX-01:
  • Escaping the Suliban Helix because the the crew has fooled the Suliban into thinking her warp core is about to explode (complete with harmless pyrotechnics on the nacelles) and she jumps into warp as soon as shes clear.
NCC-1701:
  • The V'Ger cloud dispersing in Earth orbit revealing the Enterprise almost in declaration that the Earth is saved.
  • Warping out of the Mutara Nebula as the Reliant erupts with the Genesis Wave. And the Enterprise just barely outruns the shockwave.
  • The death of the Enterprise.
NCC-1701*:
  • Being seen for the first time by Kirk under construction at Riverside Shipyard.
  • McCoy and Kirk seeing her for the first time complete in space.
  • Rising from the atmosphere of Titan.
  • Dropping out of warp and taking out the Narada's missiles, thus protecting Spock onboard the Jellyfish.
NCC-1701-A:
  • The reveal of the Enterprise-A.
  • The Enterprise and the Excelsior pummeling the Bird-of-Prey with photon torpedoes in STVI.
NCC-1701-D:
  • Many of the nebula scenes throughout TNG.
  • 'Firing all weapons' at the Borg cube in BoBW part 1.
  • Firing a single photon torpedo at Lursa and Betor's Bird-of-Prey in 'Generations'.
NCC-1701-E
  • The Enterprise showing up at the battle of sector 001 in FC.
  • Holding her own against a pair of Son'a battleships within the Briar Patch.
  • Firing phasers at zero elevation at the cloaked Scimitar in Nemesis.
Off the top of my head...
