Your favorite TREK toy

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

I think my favorite was my FC phaser... but I will say that I got the 1701 Picard, Yar, and Barclay set for $15. Being the moron child I was, I opened them. I still have them though! :brickwall:

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

I don't like to call it a toy.

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

I don't know it they count since I don't have them any more, I was so young when I had them that they just didn't have a chance. The old Mego figures. I had the whole bridge crew and the Klingon, no rare aliens , but that was cool, I didn't even know about them. I also had the big bridge play set with the cool transporter. I've collected a few things since, but nothing ever brought me more joy.

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

I have a ST V Kraft Marshmallow dispenser, just like Spock used in the movie.... ok, so it's pretty lame, but it's rare.

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

My playmates original Enterprise. I know that better ones have been made sense but mine has survived many a jungle jims standing in as starbases!!

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

Mine will always be the 8-inch Mego action figures; I had all the crew except, for some reason, Scotty. They were still in circulation when I was four-years old (circa 1980) but the aliens and such were no longer available. My mother even wrote the company a letter asking about the walkie-talkie communicator which I really, really wanted. Even though I had the smaller TMP figures, I preferred the ones in their original series uniforms with their blue phasers, tricoders and communicators.

Those figures took me on adventures that I'll always treasure.

Re: Your favorite STAR TREK toy

I love the playmates line from the 90s. I wish they had kept the same scale instead of adding inches to the figures height. The only thing that series is missing is the TOS bridge to go with the crew set. The cardboard packaging bridge just didn't cut it.

BTW a warning to all star trek toy fans!!!!!
The prices on www.startrektoys.com are WAAAAAY too high! Don't go there without first checking ebay, amazon or anywhere else. I've seen figures listed on that site for $300 sell for $5 on ebay.
