Corner Gas definitely meets the requirements for a sitcom. Red Green... sorta, but not quite. There is a framing story, but other elements that don't really have anything to do with it. Given that it's basically a spinoff of one of Steve Smith's characters from his old Smith & Smith comedy skit show, Red Green has done pretty well.I'm not sure if these count as sitcoms, since they don't have laugh tracks, but The Red Green Show and Corner Gas tend to spring to mind..
Actually, Red Green does have laughs, but it's a studio audience. Which is actually part of the show. So I don't count that as a laugh track.
Nice to see someone finally mention something from back when sitcoms weren't so mean-spirited and bitter. I loved Three's Company, and The Ropers as well.Three's Company
The best one of all, in my opinion.I Love Lucy
