Basically TNG crew with Spock and McCoy.

Commanding Officer: Capt. John Harriman
XO: Cdr. Saavik
Chief Science Officer: Cdr. Thomas Starnes (from And The Children Shall Lead)

The rest of the crew are new characters not from previous works, so the nmes wouldn't mean anything here).

My answer is boring, but although I love TNG, the TOS crew is my dream crew, though they shifted ranks and postings throughout the films. My dream crew would probably be the way they were presented in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, since it gives some of the characters ways to shine in new and different ways from the original lineup.

Captain - James T. Kirk
First Officer - Will Decker
Science Officer - Spock
Chief Engineer - Montgomery Scott
Security Officer - Pavel Chekov
Helmsman - Hikaru Sulu
Navigator - Ilia
Communications Officer - Nyota Uhura
Medical Officers - Christine Chapel and Leonard McCoy
Transporter Chief - Janice Rand

Captain Picard
First officer Riker, till promoted; then Kirk, till killed; then Spock
Ops shifts 1 & 3 Data, shift 2 (visiting Bajoran exchange officer) Kira
Sciences Spock, till promoted; then Janeway till switched to command track off-ship; then Dax (from season 1)
Chief Engineer Scott, until found love and quit
Chief Engineer La Forge (married Adm. T’Pol)
Engineer Sisko (younger)
Chief Tactical Officer Tuvok
Second Tactical Yar
Second Tactical Worf when Yar is lost on away mission saving Spock
Security Lt. Odo
Chief Medical Officer Crusher
Chief Surgeon MCoy
Dr. Phlox
Dr. Bashir
Nurse Ogawa
Medical Trainee Kes
Counselor Troi
Assistant Counselor Ezri Tigan
Communications shift 1 Uhura

....Designated Ship's Idiot: Crewman 9th Class Jonathan Archer

Do class numbers go up or down with increasing seniority? Is a first class crewman the most junior crewman grade or the highest crewman grade?

Thus I do not know whether you intend for Crewman 9th class to be 8 steps below Crewman first class or eight steps above crewman first class.

In this thread: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/the-yeoman-program.301227/ There is some discussion of Yeoman 3rd Class Tina Lawton, and despite her young age many who posted assumed she was two steps higher than a Yeoman first class.

Please let me know if you consider Crewman Ninth class to be 8 steps up or down from Crewman First Class.

My dream crew? I suppose I'd have to go with those aliens from Voyager's Waking Moments.

They don't seem sympathetic, but would have way, way more experience in acting through dreams than any Starfleet character.
