Your CBS series ideas

It could be argued that with the possible Emperor Georgiou/Section 31 series on it's way, CBS are struggling for Star Trek series ideas. We already have:

Discovery S2
Short Treks
Picard: 2399
Emperor Georgiou/S31
Lower Decks
Starfleet Academy
Khan/Ceti Alpha V
Pike's Enterprise

Either in production or rumoured for CBS All-Access. Let's give them a little help. What Trek series would you like to see?

I'd love a Young McCoy series, where he's married, on Earth working at a private practice and perhaps solving crimes and battling strange alien diseases. In fact, Young [insert established Trek character here] would probably be my go-to idea.

Scotty as a late teen/20something with his engineering mentor.

Young Guinan and her boyfriend Q on Doctor Who-ish adventures in time and space.

Sarek and Amanda, where they're raising 20something Sybok and teens Spock and Michael while dealing with ambassadorial crisis'.

A Romulan War series has to be inevitable, probably starring Jeffrey Combs.

Police proceedures are quite popular, so why not a Trek police show, or at least a near-future (2050+) sci-fi police show.

I want something different, not another "crew on ship has adventures" because Discovery is already doing that. The Goergiou show could be a step in the right direction, a villain protagonist is certainly something the franchise hasn't done before.

Or maybe a civilian freighter hopping between star systems (maybe only 3 or 4 ones allowing for a recurring planetside cast).

House of Cards / The West Wing - set within Starfleet and the Federation of Planets.

Section 31 Vs Starfleet Intelligence series about Spys.

Short Form drama about a planet preparing to join the Federation, and a resistance group trying to sabotage the talks.

"Keeping up with the Cardassians" - a series on what's happening in the Cardassia homeworld after the Dominion War and the power struggles between the survivors. Starring Cardassia Emperor/ ruler Elim Garak, Gul Madred (now head of the Obsidian Order), Crell Moset, a resurrected Gul Dukat, and for comic relief - Kim & Court' Ney Dukat - his newly discovered illegitimate daughters :hugegrin::lol::lol:

"Quark's" - featuring your friendly bar owner/bartender Quark, his brother Rom, his nephew Nog, his slave/Dabo girl Leeta, Garak the Cardassian Tailor/Spy, and his favorite customer Morn.

Also featuring cameos from DS9 station commander Kira Nerys and your other favorite DS9 characters ;);)

Yeah.
Any of them, but no more grim, no more darkness.
I want a positive and brighter vision of the future.

A crossover series between a Federation ship and Planetary Union's "The Orville" I suppose.

Old-schooled TNG-like weekly space adventure - plus Seth MacFarlane's brand of humor - are expected :hugegrin::D:D

Something like this could be good. He probably wouldn't be her boyfriend, but exploring their history could be interesting.
I think it would be the most boing show ever, a being as powerful as Q doesn't work as a protagonist if he can snap his fingers to solve every problem, a movie or a single episode works, a series? No way.

My show idea is The Adventures of Young Curzon Dax.

Curzon seems like the sort of character who would be good for a protagonist-focused show, since he's basically a lovable but flawed sort of rogue. He liked to drink, chase women, and occasionally get in fights. Hell, given what's strongly hinted about Trill sexuality, he could be retconned as pansexual, which would make it more appropriate for the modern era. Better yet, roughly concurrently with the TOS movie era, he was a top Federation diplomat, playing a key role in negotiations with the Klingon Empire. In this occupation he befriended Kor, Kang, and Koloth, and played a major role in securing the Khitomer Accords. This work, based upon his likely birth date, likely started when he was relatively young (possibly his early 20s).

So yeah, make him start out as a junior diplomatic attache to the Federation embassy on Qonos. Have him slowly work his way up the ranks as he comes to have a deeper understanding of Klingon culture and his growing friendship with Kor and the others. Maybe involve some time jumps - since I'm not sure that such a show would run long enough to cover the entire early period of his life.

I would watch the hell out of that.

i don't think they're struggling for ideas, they're just rushing to capitalize on michelle yeoh's popularity after crazy rich asians and discovery itself.

however, my idea for a CBS all access trek series would be about zefram cochrane and lily sloane in the years after first contact, dealing with the vulcans and helping to rebuild earth. maybe even traveling to vulcan.

Star Trek: Frontier

25th century Post Recovery and exploration of Romulan space. Possible new threat to be discovered and exploring the outer fringes of the galaxy,

House of Cards / The West Wing - set within Starfleet and the Federation of Planets.

Might as well have a show based in the Mirror Universe about the power struggle between a number of potential claimants after Emperor Georgiou was deposed. It is modeled after 'Game of Thrones.'
