Your Box office Predictions for Star Trek? (and box office tracking)

I have it at a $90 million opening weekend. $275 domestic. Trek's future depends on how much this film makes. what do you think?

Good geuss I would have to say...for opening weeked, $80-$100 million. Total domestic box office, $300-$340 million. If the people I meet and talk to about the NU-Trek movie, people who would never give ''TREK'' a secound look, are really looking forward to this! That's why my predictions are so HIGH! especialy if it get's good word of mouth!

The marketing had touched non Trek fans. This film has to be a hit for the franchise to continue

I am from Texas. Claim both Houston and Austin.

I currently reside in the squeaky clean college town of Provo, UT where as I mentioned above, all my college aged friends are planning to go to the midnight showing. Never thought in all my 25 years that I would see the day!!

$140 million Domestic Run

$150 Million worldwide

Around 200 million dollars domestically. Harder to guess, overseas - but if they come up with more than 300 million dollars worldwide on this one, they'll probably be at least satisfied. I'm sure they hope to do more like 400.

The hope these days is always that the sequel makes more, which is a complete turn-around from thirty years ago when each sequel was expected to gross about 60-70 percent of the previous film in the series. And no, no one involved is treating this movie as a sequel itself.

I predict that it will make at least $6.00 (matinee price) at the NCG Cinema in Acworth, GA... $12 if I can drag my wife along.

I hope it makes more then 'Maid in Manhattan' did against Nemesis.

I'm thinking $70 million opening, $175 mil domestic, $300 worldwide
