Your bookshelves

I love this thread and am so jelly of some of these bookcases. I've always wanted a full-wall built-in. But I live in a small apartment in New York, there's only so much space. Plus, I moved around all the time before living where I do now, and often not under the best circumstances, so a lot of books were lost along the way.
Thus, my room:

Those old books on the second shelf down are all 50s-70s pulp sci-fi that belonged to my dad. Otherwise, they're organized by what feels right.

And then there's 400 or so books I've read and don't feel the need to keep, so I'm planning to sell or donate:

I only possess about a dozen books
Six of them stuck in a cupboard
The rest on my TV Unit
I don't have a bookshelf

I have about 4 bookcases. I’ve arranged my books by theme: fiction, art/design, star trek, travel/guidebooks, books related to work, my old childhood books, quirky thrift shop finds, manga, botanical books and some random self help books. MyTrek DVD sets are also on display.

As I may downsize someday, I have recently sold a lot of nonfiction books and donated some fiction and children’s books to the little street libraries in my neighbourhood. Too bad I found some books there that I really needed to take home with me....

Before I split from my ex wife, I had a collection of old classic Penguin paperbacks
I used to buy them simply because they were famous titles, I never opened to read them, strange I know
But anyway, I lost them all when I moved out
