Tomorrow night (Thursday Night) my nephew, and two best friends, and I, will be sitting down to watch STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. We will watch all 11 Trek movies over the next few weeks; this is to settle once and for all, the ranking of these movies, as we see it. Each person will be given a score pad. We will be grading five areas, each on a scale from 1-10.

Here is a line-up of the reviewers...
Me...Robert Scorpio. I will be the ring leader tasking them, and keeping them in line. I am 43 years old.
Bill; He is 48 years old, and is into old scifi. He ranks 2001 as the greatest scifi movie of all time. TNG/TOS are his two favorite Trek shows.
Mike; he is 43, I have known him since Jr high. He is mister high-brow. Hates all main-stream movies, and has a scifi book collection that is so large, its big! He is 'touch and go' with Trek, and thinks TNG/TOS are the best. He and BILL do not get along that good mainly because Mike thinks 2001 is over-rated and dull.
Jed; my nephew, and baby of the group at 23 years old. He, like me, believes DS9 was the best Trek show, and favors TOS over TNG.
We are also all squaring off this weekend with the rest of my family in our one-a-year Balderdash christmas showdown!!! Ben, Jed's father (but not part of the Trek review) who works at JPL is the odds on favorite to win. My fifteen year old high-school daughter won the thanksgiving balderdash showdown, so go figure!
So..that is your motley crew..
YOUR assignement is to watch THE MOTION PICTURE this week and rate it as well; Not off the top of your head, but really do watch it, and submit your review in this five areas as well.
We may or may not get together on Friday night to watch Khan. It will all depend as to how Mike/Bill get along. We will be seeing these in BLURAY on Bill's 55 inch 240hz HDTV.
