"Your a droid ,and I'm annoyed"

That was the silly The Outrageous Okona, yes? With Joe Piscopo as the holographic comic. Yikes, dreadful ep!

Terri Hatcher was the only good thing about the episode.

now if Data had broken into a Bob Wheeler voice telling those jokes....?

I actually thought both Riker's removal of the plank, and Data's shoving of Crusher into the water, were funny and never understood why people think either is inappropriate or mean-spirited.

In the context that one cannot get hurt on the holodeck, yeah it's not a terrible joke but maybe a bit mean spirited. (Being pushed/dropped isn't fun.) But the over-reaction by the crew, and apparently Crusher, on Data's pushing Crusher into the water was a bit overkill.

I could argue that Data's was a bit more mean spirited. I mean he just shoved Crusher into the water. That's a bit different than playfully dropping someone in the water who was already in a situation where he may have fallen into it anyway.

You'd think the "safeties" of the holodeck would have precluded the plank from being removed and it would've said, "WTF?! Man? There's a dude standing on the plank!" But, again, the drop to the water didn't hurt Word per the safeties.

(And I realize that Worf's knee/leg looks bloodied as he's climbing back in. But that was a "production error" and was actually paint that got transfered to Dorn's knee from the boat as he tried climbing back in.)
