I was a little worried about watching this one, because I missed last week's and the last two episodes were never added to Cartoon Networks (WTF CN? You've put up every episode up to this point),

There's other places you can watch cartoon online for free to catch up, places with anime flavor.

That's the only way I can see Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers: EMH without changing my cable package.

I thought most of his crew were surface people.

I thought they were ex-Cobra Vipers. Maybe Eels. Ha!

So it turns out YJ is going on hiatus until the end of September. From the show's official Facebook page: "Many people are curious and confused about the hiatus to be held in Young Justice.

Anyway, Depths was another very good episode. I did wonder if they were actually gonna kill off Artemis, but this is better I think. Though it's pretty cold-blooded not to let at least Connor and M'Gann in on the plan, but I guess the fewer that know the better.

Nice to get confirmation of what I suspected that it's MM's ripping people's minds open that turned Connor away. I really didn't expect it to be that she messed with his mind too though, and the scene in the ship was made all the stronger for how that played out.

Yeah...its all the stranger when you realize that they went straight from the second half of season one into season two.

This might be seen as a vote of confidence in the series in that the feel that it could sustain its audience with a 3 month gap. Do we know what the status of season 3?

Except that they've been doing much the same thing with most of their shows for ages. Heck, Generator Rex has been on hiatus for over four months, there are still seven unaired episodes left in its third season, and there's been no indication of when or even if CN intends to air them.

Returning in September is sort of a bummer, but I don't find cause to complain. It's been a really great show so far, and if they keep the quality up, then it's worth the delays.

I wonder if "Young Justice" returning in September has anything to do with the fact that it is the New 52's one year anniversary? I'm reaching here...because the scheduling does seem pretty bizarre.

^Probably has far more to do with the start of the fall season. It used to be a universal norm for networks to air reruns in the summer and start new episodes in the fall. These days we tend to have new shows year-round, but they're staggered, with some shows airing in one part of the year and others airing in another. And a season getting split in the middle is far from unusual for cable broadcast schedules.

I don't know if it means low viewership or just low sales (the latter is likely) but what was supposed to be the next wave of Young Justice action figures was canceled some time ago.
