Young Justice-Tonight!

I kinda did see part of the twist coming, at least the part pertaining to Artemis. And it does excuse something that would otherwise annoy me, namely the standard cliche portrayal of CPR as something you try for a few moments and then give up on when it doesn't completely revive them. That's nonsense. CPR is rarely a means of reviving people in and of itself. It's just a way to keep the brain and heart oxygenated and delay tissue death until proper medical care can be given. You don't just stop if it doesn't revive them, you keep doing it until the paramedics arrive and can take more effective steps. But in this case, it's understandable why they wouldn't have used the correct technique.

The revelation about Kaldur was a relief, though it seems odd that they're keeping the rest of the team in the dark. And the explanation of Connor & M'Gann's breakup was intriguing, and a bit chilling. Although I don't get how the rest of the Team and the JL can be unaware of the long-term damage M'Gann is inflicting on the people she reads.

And I really hope they never rescue Lagoon Boy. He is just annoying and obnoxious, and I'll be happy if I never hear another "Neptune's beard!" Doesn't he have any other oaths in his repertoire? I'd even take "Holy halibut, Nightwing!"

I find it a bit amusing that no one seems to acknowledge Lagoon Boy is maybe just a racist a-hole. Every time he says "chum", he puts this negative, sarcastic tone to it. I believe he's actually just calling all of these people "shark bait" because that's what he believes they're good for.

i don't care for Lagoon Boy either but him saying 'Neptune's beard!' makes me laugh. its like the 'Hello Megan!' of this season.

I'm sure they just assumed any brain damage was the result of all the concussions caused by being punched and exploded by super people.

I must admit I like the show a lot more, now that it's Justice League Incorporated: Middle Management Melodrama! The intramural relationships of the squads are producing more drama in a few episodes than The Light ever generated.

Now that we know that Superboy doesn't want Megan back... When he lets Lagoon Boy die, it's only and just going to be because Lagoon Boy is a deush.

I was a little worried about watching this one, because I missed last week's and the last two episodes were never added to Cartoon Networks (WTF CN? You've put up every episode up to this point), but luckily it didn't play into this one to much. I really enjoyed this one, lots of great character moments, and some good actions sequences. I like finally getting to find out what exactly happened between M'Gann, and Connor. I did not see the end coming, and I am glad Kal'dur wasn't a bad guy after all. I really like his character and was disappointed when they made us think he went bad.

I think we may have been given the answer if we piece it together. We know that Superboy figured out M'gann was trying to change his mind, but he also said that he realized it because he was so intimately familiar with the feeling. We also know from season one that M'gann is a stronger telepath than even Martian Manhunter.

Even if only subconsciously, is M'gann nudging everyone into overlooking her actions? Batman isn't dumb; and I thought it wildly out of character for him to say nothing about M'gann's "interrogation" of the Krolo. Superboy has some immunity because M'gann listens to him, but how far could he get in convincing everyone else if M'gann is constantly nudging them?

^Good thought -- but if you want the spoiler tags to work, you need to put an equals sign after the first "spoilers" (and enter a topic for the spoiler after it, though I'm not sure that's essential).

Well, Artemis's new ID is evidently someone Kaldur has hired to work in Black Manta's organization, since they boarded a sub together at the end. So I doubt she's going to be adopting a superhero identity, certainly not an archery-related one. And once the need for her undercover gig is over, it'll presumably be revealed that she survived and she'll go back to being Artemis (though the rest of the Team may be pretty mad at her and Nightwing for a while).

Man at first I thought they were going to have some balls and kill Artemis and have Kaldur be the killer, but this works too.

By the way am I the only one who notices the irony of Artemis joining up with Kaldur which will involve her being underwater a bit, with her past history of almost drowning a few times isn't that tempting fate?

How is she going to fake Atlantean superpowers?

Technology or genemodification?

After this finishes... Is she going to want to give up her powers or just outright become the new Aquagirl?
