You know you're a geek when... (complete the sentence)

You know you're a geek when you get into a heated spat about the 007 canon status of Sean Connery's NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN and can't accept the truth.

You know you're a geek when you read Conrad's Nostromo because of Alien(s). Not because of the fact its one of the greatest additions to fiction ever. But because you wanna read about Sulaco....(in the book, the name of a town).

Hubby told me that, if we ever had a son, he wanted the first name to be Sean (for Sean Connery, the “real” James Bond, per Hubby) and the middle name to be Digoro (for Lone Wolf and Cub).

We have no children.

Coincidence?

I do know someone whose husband insisted that their baby boy’s middle name be “Danger.” Yeah. Big time Austin Powers fan. So “Christopher Danger” it was.

You know you're a geek when you watch the Weather Channel for the radar maps instead of the hot weather ladies.

Happened to me yesterday:
....when you're walking out of a Target, and you see one of their buggies in the parking lot from such an angle that you only see the "TAR" part of their name on the side of the bright red buggy, and your mind fills in "DIS" for the remainder of the word.

Also yesterday:
Saw a sign for a Mexican cantina on the way home, could only think of Star Wars.

You know you're a geek when you have a "Q" figurine in his traditional, season one: episode one wardrobe sitting on your desk.
