Wow, this one takes some thought. When I saw the thread title, I thought this would be a choice of which series or movie series I would choose. That answer was easy: TOS. Now you make me choose which PART of my favorite series... ouch!
It is a toss-up between TOS-R Season 1 or TOS movie series. I'll come back and vote once I figure it out. Very good thread, by the way!

Season One of the original. It's, overall, my favourite of the three. I have TAS but I've only watched parts of it. It just doesn't "do it" for me. I've only seen clips of TOS-R here and there. While some of those look good I haven't been really moved to buy it.

since I don't strongly object the remastered, I picked the season, considering the circumstances that I would find most conforting. That is season 3, I always had a very close relationship with the type of storytelling and character devolpment that was put forth in that season, I found it very tender and true.

At the time I started this thread I wasn't sure how I would vote. I just knew it would be between seasons 1 & 2 or the film collection. After much thought I decided to forget about the films, figured I would get bored quickly of those. Besides, Star Trek V is basically a throw away film & STVI is only slightly above average, so that would only leave me with 4 really stellar films to watch. After reviewing all the episodes I had to go with Season 1. There are so many good episodes from S2, but S1 eclipsed those IMO.
I almost went with S1 Remastered set, but decided to go with the original (unaltered) set. I may have made a mistake, not really sure...a very hard decision. But definitely Season 1 is the best overall choice, for me that is.

I'll pick Yeoman Rand... Hey wait a second, you accidently posted the wrong choices. Didn't you mean to put Rand, Kelinda, Droxine, Marta, and the other Star Trek babes up there?
Hmm. I'll go with Season 2. While I loved episodes in all of the seasons, I liked more of them in Season 2.
I think the choices should be Vina, Colt, and Number One.
Choosing between the TOS babes would be an interesting poll, but first we have to narrow down the field of candidates to a reasonable number. Some candidates I nominate for consideration: the Romulan Commander from TEI, Miramanee, Edith Keeler, Leila, the aforementioned Colt, and the Horta. Also Uhura, but only if she wears the uniform from Mirror Mirror.
But most of all, Mary, the cute little blond from And the Children Shall Lead. Hubba, hubba, hubba! Schwing!
EDIT: Come to think of it, if I’m going to be stranded on a desert island with just one of them, my choice is Miranda Jones. Even if I’m the only man on the island, a blind woman is probably my best chance to get laid.
Season 1 was an easy choice, but it was a little more difficult choosing between original or remastered. I think the remastered effects are a lot of fun, but ultimately, I'm a traditionalist, so if I can't have both, it's gotta be the original.
