You are cordially invited...

Okay, dude...I'm however not at all mystified as to how you can be a Dodgers fan. You grew up in So Cal and they're a So Cal team. Perfectly logical.

I will also say that I do love when a good "Beat L.A." chant breaks out at AT&T Park. :)

Congratulations.

The invitation looks nice.

But are you sure that it's a good idea to post both your fiancées full name and birthday in this thread?

Awesome job! And I don't care what Tigh's Eye says, GO GIANTS!

I need to come up with a cool wedding invitation for my wedding.

Nice job! Very unusual. In the UK weddings are held during the day (often at midday) but I've noticed that in the US weddings are often held in the evening.

Last two weddings I've been to were in the afternoon. One at 14:00 and the other at 16:00.

Those are quite fun invitations.

Typically invites also specify the location of the wedding and the suggested dress code, so if you haven't sent them out yet, you might want to add those things. Will save you having to add a second enclosure to the envelope, and saving envelope-stuffing time is no bad thing!

Even if your wedding is going to be informal, it's useful to specify what the code is, so guests can dress accordingly.

I took the liberty of responding for everyone here.

Looks like he'll need the stadium after all.

I think that's because until recently there were tighter regulations on where you could get married, basically restricting it to church or registry office. And those places generally run office hours for wedding ceremonies. So late morning through early afternoon tended to be the popular slots. The legislation got deregulated a little while back IIRC, so more options are creeping in, but I think most people still like daytime weddings, followed by afternoon receptions either stretching into an evening party or with a later separate party. My personal feeling is that a daytime wedding is more festive, but each to their own.

Holdfast looks like some cover up on the bottom of the main invite, I'm guessing that would be the location. But, yes, requested attire is a good to add item.

Being a NoCal person at the moment I appreciate the cleverness of the invite, good luck to you both.
