Yor vs Beastmaster

YOR, Hunter of the Future, was he Yor hunter? certainly wasn't mine.

Beastmaster has the better hair,( even Spaghetti sci fi budgets ought to allow for a better wig than Yor's one would think). Advantage to Yor for hot chicks though & more behind shots. & the Darth Vader offspring at the end was pretty cool. Other than that, I can find no other advantage over Beastmaster.

i think the theme song alone from yor wins this battle. but then i had a yor poster on my wall for years, so i'm probably biased.

it should be noted that yor was originally a tv miniseries in turkey and the u.s. theatrical cut probably left out all the good stuff. although i find that difficult to believe.

Yor shoots it load in the first half-hour and by the remainder we have Beef McStrongpunch doing everything but a small chase in a futuristic golf cart. I think The Beastmaster is a more solid product overall, even though that descends into a weird ending as well. Then again it was on so much when I was growing up it might have simply softened my brain.
