First of all, I'd see that. LOL. Second, this is my first post on this particular thread. I just want to say I am 31 years old and first started watching Star Trek around age 10. I started with TOS reruns and fell in love from the get go. When TNG first came out I didn't like it because I couldn't give up on Kirk and the gang. By that time I had seen Star Trek 2-4 and 4 was my favorite at the time. My step brother finally convinced me to watch TNG around season 2 or 3 and I fell in love all over agian. TNG is my genration's Trek and TNG is now my favorite Trek. I still love TOS very much so, but TNG just has more. My favorite characters are Picard, Ryker and Q. Ok now that I got that out of the way, here's why I brought this trailer up.The reason I bring this up is because; even though I loved Star Trek 09 and it was great seeing the TOS crew agian, but seeing this trailer made me miss Picard. I miss his speaches , I miss his yelling, I miss his mentoring and I miss the TNG crew. I don't miss the Enterprise-E, but damit, I miss Picard. It feels likages since we've seen him in action and I always thought there should be a proper ending for the TNG cast. I really wanted to see a movie beyond Nemesis. I know this will never happen, but i'd love to see JJ. tie TNG cast to the new cast and put the Star Trek movie series to bed. Then have a new series and go from there. Put TOS and TNG to rest properly and move on with a new cast, new era, new time period and let them carry the movie franchise in the future. I'm sure this has been braught up over and over and I wish JJ. would do it, but it's just something that I wanted to get off my chest. Seeing that cast agian in this trailer brings up that old, deep seeded love for this cast that frankly got shitted movie wise.
