Yeah I thought the same thing, referencing things like Andor is a good sign also (in fact I remember the heist on Aldhani felt the closest to B7 I've seen in a long time!

As said though, not the first time a reboot has been mooted so I'll believe it when I see it.

I did know that there was an reboot audio series, although I've never heard it so I don't know how good or bad it was.
