I just watched this episode again after not having seen it for many years.

It made me feel very emotional and I don't like feeling emotional.

This has to be my favourite Yar episode!

Lt. Richard Castillo from this particular story ... Ensign Garrovick, from TOS ... these are the kinds of STAR TREK characters I'd like to see a lot more of. I wish Castillo and Yar could've stayed on TNG after this ... it only would've benefitted the series. As it was, it's just TNG doing what TNG does best: enthrall and entertain, like none other!
