"Yamada: Way of the Samurai"

There were Samurais that lived in Ayohdya in the ancient Siam. That's what the story was based on and they were the king's bodyguards. The story may not have been true, but it is base on the real Samurais, who lived there in the ancient time for a while and then fled the country. If you go to the ancient ruins of Ayohdya, you can see some of what the Japanese left behind. There were other cultures that left their marks on Thailand...such as the Persians, Moores and Portugese.

If you say so. It still looks like an extremely standard kung fu movie and that's not what I think of when I hear "samurai".
