X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

I was buying X-Men comics when they still had the original line-up, and through the membership transition, so this movie is more than marginally interesting to me. This trailer has bumped the movie up to the level of "I might see it in theaters". It will depend upon reviews, which after X3 and especially Origins will need to be spectacular to draw me in.

However, the music in the trailer gives me a headache, it's out of place for 1962, and it reminds me why I stopped listening to the radio and buying music in the '90s. If I keep hearing this music, I'll be giving the film a pass, no matter what the reviews.

I'm unaware that the soundtrack has been released yet. We'll see whether it's just trailer music when we see whether this "song", such as it is, is on the album, won't we?

^ Well you will. I'm excited for the score (as far as I know there isn't a soundtrack planned and no X-Men film has had a "soundtrack" ) and it's already been confirmed earlier in the thread that they've been using other music in the trailers). Seems a weird reason not to see a film but to each their own.

I've heard this song used in other things such as Spike TV's UFC Primetime: GSP vs Shields. It will probably become the new "Requiem for a Dream" song that used to be used in every other trailer about 5 years ago. I believe it was called Lux Aerterna scored by Clint Mansell.

I wasn't expecting much, but the trailers make this look like it's going to be really, really good.

The actor who plays Magneto looks fantastic.

Great new trailer!!

I'm hoping they get the word out on this in time. I'm a bit worried that in the tight window they have till release they might not be able to raise awareness enough that a new X-Men movie is coming. They've been relying on viral marketing so much up till this point.

^ I don't think there are "complaints" as much as it was just CorporalCaptain not liking it to the point where he's not going to see the movie lol. I don't know how you can say that's barely noticeable. You hear it right off the bat.
