X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Okay, new theory is that the cameo is actually Rebecca Romijn as Mystique? Kind of weird, but better than Wolverine. I agree if you are ignoring something, ignore all of it. Taking pieces here and there can get you into trouble later if you want to have sequels and build to the originals.

Ah, the suspense!
 
Grammer was one of the few good things about X3.

I reckon there shall be a trailer by the time Thor comes out. Well I hope.

Doesn't seem likely, as Jennifer Lawrence is playing the young Mystique. I don't think they're going for a Star Trek 09 style plot with an old and young version of the same character.
 
I don't really see the need for any "surprise" cameos and this seems to me that it's fans speculation only going on here.
 
I don't think it needs anyone extra either, that's what surprises me that it seems to be what is being picked out of the Empire article and IGN set visits the most. I'm more concerned on the plot bits at hand so I don't know why the Hugh at Jekyll Island or Rebecca in London at the time is making people happier for.

I agree Admiral I want a new trailer. Even an English version of the Russian one would be nice! In the next few weeks, we should begin seeing all these tv spots and set pieces and everything. Why is it the fan made posters seems to be carrying this marketing thus far?
 
^ Cause Fox sucks?? I don't know but I too have been extremely disappointed with the posters thus far. The only thing that I've really liked was the Xavier Institute First Class logo that was released before the first poster a couple months ago. That was nice.

well there have been little references and cameos in all the movies so fans just assume there will be something.
 
Yeah I get why there's speculation. I just don't get why people are fearing a Wolverine cameo so much. There is no need since "The Wolverine" is still on target and serves as a prequel for the character I'll say again, to me, I don't see the need for cameos. Homages and little Easter eggs are all fine and good.
 
I was just thinking of cameo. Just to showcase how long he's been around working behind the scenes. It would still be canon.

well personally, i just hate Wolverine. i'd like for First Class to be a good movie and perform well at the box office...without Wolverine. i think it would go a long way to prove to people that X-Men can be good without Wolverine.
 
Wolverine isn't very Sixties and nor does he embody the zeitgeist of what Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were all about. The movie can do without him.

Maybe it'll have something to do with the FF reboot. Just a thought.
