X-MEN: Days Of Future Past (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

I would like to see Alan Cummings as Nightcrawler again. It was implied we saw both of his parents in First Class.
This might please you then

Alan Cumming up for returning

Nothing concrete, but still nice to know...
Well, I stand corrected.

He doesn't say anything about difficulties with the make-up. Either I'm misremembering, it was just a fan rumor, or he's willing to deal with it this time around.

Wasn't there something about him not getting on with Singer, or was that also a fan rumour?

They aren't even TRYING anymore. :p

Should this movie finally be retitled Wolverine and the X-men?

;)

Agree. Anyone really clamoring for an Alison Blaire led X-Men movie? Rogue? Even if they were, sadly, female led action films have a shoddy history. A Jaimie Madrox led X-Factor perhaps...doubtful at this point. I'm sure we'd all like Cyclops to have that chance to lead, Marsden is solid in my book, but Cyk just isn't as marketable for whatever reason(s). I'm thinking visibility is a dominant one, half his face is always covered.

Hugh Jackman is great as Wolverine, it frankly mirrors how he's all over the MU in the comics(for better/worse), and he likes to do it. So as long as he's game and Wolverine fits the story(which he usually does) the more Hugh the better!!

Chris McQuarrie recently revealed that he approached Fox to write a bible for their superhero films including the X-Men and Fantastic Four which would have also featured "interlocking" films. He even met with Tom Rothman about it, but then never heard back. Mark Millar would eventually be hired as creative consultant. It would have been interesting to see what McQuarrie would have come up with, given the fact that his "The Wolverine" script has been so praised.

No Emma Frost for DoFP. At least, January Jones doesn't think so...

I don’t know that I’m in it, I don’t think Emma’s in this one. Well they haven’t told me if I am (laughs). I wouldn’t put it past them though, I got the script for the first one on the airplane on the way there. It’s called Days of Future Past I think, and I think it’s more about James [McAvoy] and Michael [Fassbender] and then Patrick [Stewart] and Ian [McKellan], and I think it’s gonna go back and forth with those so I don’t think Emma’s in those bits. I don’t know, I really don’t know.

Jones was certainly beautiful, but she wasn't a very good Emma at all. I have said before that I would much have preferred Alice Eve.
