X Company is a very entertaining hour long Canadian, dramatic action series, 4 episodes into it's second season about a multinational 5 person squad of spies and resistance support operatives working out of Canada's Camp X during the rear end of World War II, dropped behind enemies lines in Europe to execute tactical missions. I say "person" because Evelyne Brochu (From Orphan Black) plays the role of field leader which creates some interesting dynamics on the sexual front for 1944, but they've never really been as heavy handed about that as much as Agent Carter does every other breath.

From the geeks point of view, we are not dealing with anything X-Files-like( I think on Supernatural last week they strongly suggested that Adolf Hitler was a literal vampire) but one of the men in X-Company, the new recruit brought in in the pilot, is an sinesense with eidetic memory, so he's hearing colours and got all the train schedules memorized, but more importantly he's a ####ing Nerd, and the bully-boys surrounding him are wondering when this blue ribbon liability is going to get the lot of them pressed up against a wall.

It's good!

Would I lie to you?

It really is. I feel it's one of CBC's best shows. It's based on the real Camp-X, and it's said that Ian Flemming visited the place and was inspired to write James Bond.
