wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

As I've said, I believe those promos have been teasing and promoting a Punk/JeriTroll match at Wrestlemania. Punk will retain tonight and they're spend the next month building up their match for Wrestlemania. The dirt sheets for the most part have been spot on about all three main event matches. I'll grant that they could change the formula and have Chris win tonight and have Punk chase a third time. I don't think think that is their intention.

Here's the thing; utterly predictable and disappointing results, but pretty decent action. So the wrestling was good on the whole, but it leaves the near future looking as hopeless as ever. I did very much enjoy the Johnny Ace segment though; when Mark Henry sort of gave in to being in the photo and pulled a pose I laughed a lot. And ADR and Christian are, of course, brilliant. Obviously he's a heel, but to have Laurinaitis replace Teddy Long on Smackdown would be lovely.

Oh, but that backstage segment leading to the Swagger match is the worst thing the WWE has ever done. A complete load of cunt.

well I am glad christian is back he's one of favorite heel's. I hope he can head line wrestlemania.

Elimination Chamber is tomorrow? WHAT??? Tomorrow. WHAT?? Sunday Night. WHAT??? Yeah sorry I don't care lol. Punk will win the Raw Chamber match...I could care less about the Smackdown one. Cornette Face!!!

^One of the best "What?" chants in the last ten years.

Lulz wut?

Good god. Pretty much Big Show by default because I'm not quite sold on Cody Rhodes, and his half-brother is past his prime.

So I applaud you guys who thought Punk was not going to walk out WWE Champion last night but for anything else to happen, WWE would have to stop their safe booking and they've not done that now for several months. I probably won't be watching Raw tonight.

I enjoyed EC way more than I probably have any right to, but I'm not exactly glued to my TV for RAW. I guess that's kind of a contradiction, but as much as I enjoyed the show there was nothing about it that made me feel like RAW tonight is a can't miss.

I might watch it anyway, but I won't go out of my way to. The time would probably be better spent working.

And I saw that ad, too. I didn't quite know what to make of it.

Could we see another "mega" match at 28? In the form of Trish Stratus Vs Beth Phoenix???

http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/quicknews/article_58332.shtml

If so WWE is trying to pull out all the stops for this one.

Big Time Cornette Face for the start of Raw or as I like to call it now Meh. WTF was that? Punk on commentary is GOLD!!! GOLD JERRY GOLD!!!

Oh man...I'm seeing injury reports for Kofi, Wade, and Dolph on twitter. They all injured themselves in the main event. Same with Truth. According to the repots Kofi has injured his knee, Wade broke his arm, Zig Zags has a concussion, and Truth might have a concussion. Jericho also tweeted this.

Yeah, I watched Wade get escorted out with a splint on his arm tonight. They brought out a stretcher for him, so it was good at least see him *walk* out.

Dolph took a bump on the announce desk. Looked real good.

well I forgot that ron simmons aka pharauq was wcw HWC.

wrestlemania 28 is shaping up finally:

chris jericho vs cm punk <(type of match to be determined)
who I want to win: Cm punk
who will win: Chris Jericho

Daniel Bryan vs Shaemus <(type of match to be determined)
who I want to win: Shaemus
who will win: Daniel Bryan

The Rock vs John Cena <(type of match to be determined)
who I want to win: The Rock
who will win: The Rock <(and this is where I think cena will make his heel turn)
also I think the mIz will interfear with this match some how.

The undertaker vs Tripple H: <( Hell IN the Cell)
who I want to win: the undertaker
who will win: Tripple H <(with help from shawn michael some how)
also I think this will be the undertakers final wrestlemania.

beth pheonix I think she'll be facing kelly kelly at wrestlemania

and we still have to do a tag match of some kind.

WWE keeps burying their WCW footage.

At least Vince is true to his word. It wasn't just the character of Mr. McMahon that was ready to bury WCW on March 26, 2001. There isn't a strong enough four-letter word for what the WWE has done with the competition that lost out to them that year.

The Big Show's hardly at the top of his game any more either. I'd rather watch Goldust all day long.
Well that's certainly true about Big Show. But at least he's still been getting main event pushes. I don't know that I've seen anything worthwhile from Goldust since before the stupid Tourette's angle.

Have there ever been this many casualties in one WWE match before? How did Wade break his arm?!

I think it was Dolph Ziggler's collision with the announce table and not having the room to fully clear Barrett that caused the arm fracture. We didn't really get a clear shot as it was kind of a big mess and it doesn't seem like anyone was really in the wrong considering that there were three rapid eliminations in the same place.

I wonder if WWE is toying with the idea of really getting behind a Santino main event push? Given the fact that the crowds are hot for him and his impressive in-ring ability (which has never been an issue, rather it's WWE's booking of him as a comedy act) you have to wonder if Santino could work in a kind of Mikey Whipwreck capacity - a guy who started as the ultimate ECW jobber but quickly won every title and even had successful defenses against the likes of Steve Austin, all the while maintaining his original underdog character.

Last night's segments with John Cena were absolutely awful. The desperation from WWE creative to try and get the crowd behind Cena has never been more obvious. The shameful "Attitude Era" shoutout segment involving Cena and Eve was pathetic and against everything the Cena character stands for. It was nothing more than a failed attempt to appeal to the older fans. This was made clear further when Cena cut a CM Punk esque promo involving the mention of "wrestling" and calling The Rock out for "selling out".

This kind of stuff really pisses me off because WWE should just accept that John Cena will be booed out of every building until his character is tweaked to some degree. It's all good if he's still selling merchandise right?

I can't remember another time when this many superstars were injured at the same time no. Santino has been a fan favourite for a while, but it has only been recently that he's been this over with the crowd. I'd like them to actually do something with him other than use him for comedy. The Eve heel turn thing was just plain ridiculous. Vince really doesn't seem to like the Divas right now lol. Remember the time when he humiliated Trish? That was kind of what I reminded of with the stuff with Eve last night.

So does the fact that Undertaker/Trips 2.5 is now in a Hell in a Cell increase anyone's excitement level about this match? It doesn't too me. There is no wow factor to me about this. We've seen these two in a knock out/drag out match in last year's Wrestlemania. If this is Mark's last match they're trying to do everything in their power to make it special, but it doesn't feel special to me. It feels boring.

After some research on YouTube, I've seen both the Eve/Cena segment and the injuries that occured in the main event. First off, Cena looked more like a heel than Eve in the way he spoke to her. Maybe it worked for Stone Cold Steve Austin, who could call Stephanie McMahon any name in the book and still come out on top with the fans, but when Cena goes there.... it just feels wrong. As for the laundry list of injuries, my god, those were some brutal hits! Kofi's knee injury looked bad enough, but it was nothing compared to Wade Barrett breaking his arm AND Dolph Ziggler getting KO'ed by the announce table. "Good God almighty!" as has been infamously uttered by Jim Ross.

That's why I literally did the Cornette face during the segment. I'm rarely confused but it looked like Cena was going to turn heel right then and there the way Eve was crying her eyes out. This whole storyline has been totally idiotic in my opinion. Using Kane to try and turn John heel was not the way to go. I've maintained this from the start. They had their chance last year with the Nexus story line and they fucked that up. It's pretty clear now that Cena is going to divide the fans as I've said many times before. They could use whoever the fuck they wanted to but it's not going to do anything significant.

They should just end the brands. They no longer serve any purpose. We haven't had a draft in a year. The last one where Orton moved to Smackdown hasn't worked very well. Plus with all the injuries they should just consolidate the roster and have them appear on both shows like the Attitude Era.

For those interested...The Rock's new career retrospective DVD is out today. I'll probably check it out.
