wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Maybe the rumours of HBK being involved in the rematch as special guest referee are going to come true? So far it seems like all three of the big main event WM rumours are starting to be seeded now. I'm still doing the Cornette face!

that would be cool. but how about this for a match at wm

kermit vs triple H vs angel mumpet cage match kane special enforcer. that would be funny as hell :rommie::rommie::rommie::rommie: <(Just my opinion :vulcan:)

Pretty good opening to Raw. Glad to see they're not ignoring the stuff with John L. Still not remotely excited for UT/Triple H. I can totally see Shawn being special guest ref though now.

JeriTroll promo!!!! Okay I'm sold on Punk/JeriTroll. It's the only of the three main events I actually care about.

the only problem about the road to wrestlemania is that RAW pumps it self up and smackdown seems to suffer for it. can't they pump both show's with equal matches.
all smackdown seems to be during this time is promo fill.

I don't really give a crap (and probably neither does 80% of WWE fans) about the Daniel Bryan/AJ/Big Show saga. It's terribly poor soap opera booking and really insults the intelligence of the "WWE Universe". The only good thing about it is Big Show's clear improvements in wrestling and Daniel Bryan's new heel character.

They should just quit with the Diva matches on Raw because it's ruining 90% of the female roster. I still think a Divas show would be a smart move on WWE's part, especially if they really got behind it and started hiring trained wrestlers and not underwear models.

As I've said before and has been reported on the 'net...the Divas are in the dog house with Vince. The constant tag teaming of them, and the repeat matches are just pointless and does nothing for their titles. Vince's answer to this was to remove them from air pretty much last month. Plus you've got the silly romance between Zack and Eve. Really? Oh and did I mention the farting? Yes, I think I did rant about that.

I don't like this Daniel Bryan heel turn attempt at all. It's just poorly executed. I really can't stand the constant twitter promotion. I get why they're doing it. Just over promotion isn't a good thing. Also Cena/Rock won't surpass the anticipation of Rock/Hogan. I'm still predicting they'll do their best to do a rehash or homage of this, but unlike Sting/Hogan and TNA...they'll do a little better job of it.

@Timothy...they promote Smackdown, but most of their roster is injured dude. That's why it's been horrible for the past several months. They're lucky Orton came back when they did frankly and as much as I like Randy and am a fan of his, I think he gets over pushed too much, but in this case, he is one of Smackdown's faces that is over with the crowd.

Don't get me wrong, the storyline behind DB's heel turn is awful but he's excellent in a heel role. The guy is pretty good on the mic for someone who has only just come into the "Sports Entertainment" side of wrestling in the last few years. If anyone is interested in Daniel Bryan's previous heel incarnations, check out some of the stuff during his ROH title reign.

I didn't say that he wouldn't make a great heel...I said the current storyline forcing him into a heel sucks. He would be fantastic as a heel if they actually planned something out and executed. I don't like this overexcited ego trip he is on.

AJ is a real cutie :adore: ...it is too bad she is involved in this ridiculous angle with DB & Show. Same with Eve and Ryder, Cena & Kane. Ugh. Don't like any of these romantic angles the WWE does or has done. It is a shame they can't run a proper Diva's division in the WWE. :sigh:

Jericho was AWESOME!!! :p

The heat for that fell squarely on Miz last night, as I wrote. Triple H loudly disciplined Miz in front of the locker room as soon as he returned to the back.

Miz, who has been booked to lose every match he's been involved in in 2012, is also being scapegoated for a lower-than-expected Survivor Series PPV buyrate.

 As a Miz fan this kinda thing is upsetting. :sigh:

Yeah Miz has been in the dog house for a long time now, this won't be helpful, and no one really knows why. Maybe it is his relationship with Maryse but I don't really see why that would be a problem. They might as well have the board come out and declare John L the permanent Raw General Manager. He would get so much heat for that announcement.

Actually what Miz is going through these past few moths reminds me of when Trips returned last year and buried Sheamus and we've seen him rise in the last couple of months. I haven't really seen this type of treatment before with a former WWE Champion. I don't think he was pushed too fast, too soon and didn't deliver, he was one of the most over heel champions last year. He must have done something that we don't know about yet. Otherwise I have no idea what the fuck is going on.

HHH had nothing to do with Sheamus getting buried last year; that fault lies squarely on the shoulders of head RAW writer Kevin Dunn.

Hunter and Sheamus work out together on the road, and HHH was reportedly the one behind the decision to have Sheamus win the Royal Rumble.

^ Okay. I wouldn't personally consider HHH and Sheamus not getting a proper resolution to their feud 'burying', though. To me, the term 'burying' applies only to situations wherein a subjectg is intentionally booked to appear weak (as was the case after Sheamus won the King of the Ring tournament, which, as noted, was squarely the fault of RAW head writer Kevin Dunn, who doesn't/didn't like Sheamus).

Unless I'm mistaken, Sheamus was booked fairly strong up until after he won the King of the Ring tournament (depsite his feud with HHH not getting 'proper' resolution), at which point Kevin Dunn started booking him as a weak and comedic character.

Sheamus has a long loosing streak that was talked about endless by Cole and Lawler, until he won the United States title. I'm not the only one who has used the term "burying" either with regards to the non-resolution of their program in this thread. Like I said, until Sheamus turned face in the middle of last year he was a non-entity for a while. This has been subject that has been talked about before in the thread anyway. I just brought it up because Miz has been buried since the PPV after Wrestlemania last year. Sheamus was the only "on screen" comparison I could think of. I've seen nothing on the internet that really says why Miz is in the dog house or has been used as a scape goat (non-Miz fans have gone this route as well I've noticed). I didn't need to be corrected about Sheamus being "buried" :)

I don't find Miz's treatment to be that surprising to be perfectly honest. I just compare it to Jericho's treatment post-Mania 2002 - 2005. I'm sure we could each list dozens of guys who were pushed to the moon and the depushed inexplicably for no apparent reason.

Course, theres always the comparison to John Morrison. Here's a guy who was made to be miserable by upper managment all because Vince didn't see him believably fighting for or gaining a World Title. He didn't do anything wrong as near as I can tell. He looked great defending every title he carried.

Yet, he was future endeavored.

John Morrison though was never WWE Champion or co-mainevented Wrestlemania! Excellent point about Jericho though. I'd forgotten about that phase. Morrison did have heat with the guys though for various crap...and remember there was that snub of Trish last year. That was the last straw. There was also the drama involving him and Melina. Apparently they had a ton of heat in the back.

Yes, but Morrison was easily one of the best WWECW Champions, I think this is even during the time that they were pretending it was a World Title.

And my point is he could have been a main-eventer, Just as readily as The Miz is.

Oh yeah I agree, not disputing that at all. I thought he would make a great World Champion one day. I actually saw him eventually as the World Heavyweight Champion and perhaps two or three years from now WWE Champion.

Morrison could have been a main-eventer, and he really should have been. In terms of mic work, in-ring talent, looks and potential for growth he could have been huge. Some guys can manage to get over without the WWE behind them, and some just can't for one reason or another. Morrison just couldn't fight the tide of WWE not believing he was worth it.

Daniel Bryan may well be one of my favorite heels right now, but like I said even he's not enough to save an awful, awful "Smackdown" program that's going on right now.
