wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

very cool another one to add to my collection. hopefully it'll have some of his matches from ROH.
 
This is interesting. I suppose this means we should expect Cena not to have the title for their match at Wrestlemania. WWE will probably just ignore that stupid part of their match rather than explain it. They seem to like doing that lately.

Also I had no idea Punk has almost reached the Miz's reign...to me Punk is just as over as a face as Miz was as a heel last year. This is why I don't get why fans rag on Miz's time as champion. He was building heat for himself and establishing himself as a pretty decent WWE Champion just as Punk is. The difference is that Punk was coming off a hot story line and has won the title twice.
 
well it looks like hulk is back on impact wrestling now as a face and teamed up with eric's son.
 
Just watched the first four new Youtube shows from the WWE and boy talk about lame. Of course I read the reason they are doing it is because Youtube is paying them one million dollars a year to do so.
 
Decent RAW, but I'm really indifferent to just about everything going on right now. I'm hoping things pick up in time for WM, so I guess it's just a matter of waiting that out. I suppose that's one of the things I will always love about this business. It can literally turn around in a week.

Good to hear about the CM Punk DVD set. I'd definitely pick that up.
 
Finally watched Botchamania 200. Hard to believe that I discovered this just this past summer time. I think it was only in it's early 100's then. Maffew does thank the wrestlers for putting their bodies on the line to entertain us and mentions some Botchamania favourites as well. I love the way JESUS!! Has become a catchphrase for the show now and the creative use of the Conan O'Brien Chuck Norris lever (one of my all time favourite segments Conan ever did). I've been doing the Cornette face I think pretty much since Punk dropped his first WWE title back in the summer. Highlights from this one were Brodius Clay saying fucking during his promo, Scott Steiner once again acting like the ass he seems to be, and the comparison of John L to the famous thinking statue (drawing a blank now the name lol) while Punk is executes the Go To Sleep.

I was watching one of Scott Steiner's promos on Ric Flair during the tail-end of WCW, and I'll always remember it as one of the most pointless, incomprehensible and useless promos I've ever heard in my life. It doesn't shock me that Scotty has been a staple of the series.

And Clay? I just pretend he doesn't exist.

I need to catch up on Botchamania. I'm several behind.

Let's be honest, Botchamania-- nay, all of professional wrrestling would not be the same without Scott Steiner and all of his botches and incomprehensible promos.
 
I have noticed that they've removed FOR THE WWE TITLE from their match so that's a good thing I guess haha. Unless creative have a surprise around the corner for us? I doubt it though.

So I saw on Smackdown they did a farting segment iwith Natalya...THIS is how low they've stooped? Really? Things are really bad right now.

I know this isn't anything new with Vince and creative...they love that bathroom humour it seems because they keep using it and using it and using it. Maybe it was funny at one time, but now it reeks (no pun intended) of desperation. Oh and of course they have to use Santino, the comedic fodder, for the reaction. Lame.:rolleyes:
 
Potty humor and embarrassing the Hart family... two things Vince McMahon never ceases to find amusing, it seems. Fart jokes and wrestling.... oh, I'm sorry, I meant "sports entertainment" (fuck you, WWE) never have and never will mix. I'm as much a fan of the Attitude Era as most wrestling enthusiasts my age, but for all the great Stone Cold moments, classic Hell in a Cell and TLC matches, etc., there were also sharp turns toward the bizzare. Most we'd rather just forget. This angle smells (pun absolutely intended) of the forgettably bizzare.
