wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Looks like Maffew has a new segment. Also Botch 194 is up with the promised Mick Foley intro! The crowd chanting Steiner's name and him continually telling them to shut up and fuck off is hilarious! A more in tune company would have figured out something to do with this. Possibly the best ending, especially if you're a Batman Animated Series fan. This is right up their with the Dragonball Z endings.

okay wow what a great PPV. we have some major shake ups.

  • ziggler wins his match
  • beth pheonix wins hers
  • team Bearett win his with Randy left as survivor
  • The Big Show wins the heavy weight champoin ship
  • Cm punk Beats alberto del Rio
  • The Rock and ceana wins over the awesome truth

^
Aside from "heavyweight" and "championship" all being one word each, you've actually got that wrong.
The Rock and John Cena vs. The Miz and R-Truth
Who I want to win: The Miz and R-Truth
Who I think will win: The Rock and John Cena
It's a perfect opportunity for a Cena heel turn (haha, as if) or a swerve in Awesome Truth getting the win and bringing them some much needed credibility. More likely they'll play it safe with The Rock and Cena winning convincingly and then having a stare down. Yawn.
Doesn't take a clairvoyant, does it.

I think I acutally enjoyed 3 of those matches. Punk/Del Rio, Ziggler/Morrison, Rock & Cena/Miz and R-Truth.

The rest were either boring, or I just couldn't be bothered to care.

Some of the crowd participation was great though... particularly the 'We Want Ryder' an 'Daniel Bryan' chants.

All throughout the Show/Henry match I was wondering what Henry's motivations were for complying with the Ref's instructions during the match. I kept thinking Henry would be saying "What are you going to do? Disqualify me??"

Oh yeah, I think it's only a matter of time now before Sin Cara gets handed his walking papers.

Not to say that he doesn't botch often, but I've heard the injury actually happened before/while he jumped, so it seems the botch was a result of the injury and not the other way around, and he should be let of the hook for that one. *shrug*

Yeah, Sin Cara's injury is legit and it's just one of the many risks from wrestling a style like his. I don't think WWE are going to give up on him just yet, but it's certainly ruined their plans for the possible Wrestlemania match against Rey Mysterio (which was at a push anyway because Mysterio's injured too).

Hopefully WWE will give CM Punk a title reign that lasts more than three weeks, I'm thinking that there is a possibility that we might get a WWE Championship belt design change. WWE should have had Ryder replace Sin Cara in the elimination match, it would have appeased the MSG crowd who were pretty silent throughout it. It seems that WWE might have Henry carry the WHC through to Wrestlemania, assuming that Big Show doesn't defeat him for it at next months inevitable rematch at TLC. Imagine if they fought for the title in an actual TLC match? That would be insane and perhaps terrible, but it would give them an excuse to bring out the cool reinforced ladder again.

Speaking of Big Show, has anyone noticed how much he's improved in the last few months? It's like he's recapturing the things that made him great when he first debuted in WCW as The Giant. The flying elbow drop spot was just incredible, especially for a man of Big Show's size getting that height! You never know, he might start using the missile dropkick again!

Could one assume the Rock is not subject to the wellness policy. The man was huge and ripped and at his age going from the body he had in the Tooth Fairy to the one on display last night is very unlikely without a lot of chemical help.
I did enjoy the Big Show hitting the "Savage" elbow.

^ Tooth Fairy was filmed 2 years ago. Compare Rock's current physique to what he had during filming of Fast Five last year.

I think that sort of bulking up is quite plausable without illegal chemical help.

I thought the Rock was great in Fast Five. I wish he would stick to action movies and stay away from the kid films.

He's been training for G.I. Joe 2 as well which is where he was cutting his "away" promos from. He actually enjoys the kid flicks as they are a nice change of pace for him and expose him to the younger generation. I have to admit the crowd was electric for the Rock/Cena Vs The Awesome Truth. For those who have suggested that Cena turn heel...I don't think that would even matter to the crowd now. It is impossible. They'd still boo him, and he laughs off the boos. This is why it is difficult to do anything with John because he's so divisible. All the adult and teenager fans hate his guts while he has all the kid fans.

Yeah we talked about that last week. So it seems I was right and Survivor Series was a let down except for the tag match and Del Rio Vs Punk. I've seen stuff claiming it was boring and stuff lol. I'm now convinced that WWE doesn't know what they're doing. They created Awesome Truth as part of and to promote the conspiracy arc but then we've had no real progress on this story line since Trips was beaten up by Nash last month.

yeah the ten man tag team was bleah for survivor series. other than that enjoyable.

so looking forward to the fall out with title changes.

Raw should be interesting, especially if Triple H returns which has been rumoured. As I said a couple of weeks ago, SS or the Raw after is about four weeks after the incident on Raw. He could return cut a promo on Nash and they could set up a match between them for Royal Rumble.
