wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

@Admiral M Nash/Triple H is rumoured at Survivor Series. I would't be surprised if Trips appears at next week's Three Hour Raw...we've seen worse beat downs before, that was over selling in my opinion and a way to get him off TV for a while. If it doesn't happen at SS then it will happen before Wrestlemania.

HHH & Nash...call me a horrible person but I'd rather see Nash powerbomb a shell of a Scott Hall through a table...at least it would mean something. :sigh:

[edit] I rather see Miz in a Kermit the Frog costume being powerbombed by Nash through a table than a Nash Vs HHH match. Ugh.

I have no interest in Triple H Vs Nash. As mentioned earlier I think it will be the first time they've ever faced each other. Nash in his promo last night talked about how he still had it and could become world champion whenever he wanted...uhhh yeah right Kevin. No one buys that. You're barely able to execute a power bomb properly any more let alone work an entire match. If/When Trips Vs Nash happens I still predict a street fight with Hunter carrying the work load.

I laughed when I saw this:

Well as I stated some websites have suggested that it could happen as Survivor Series. Triple H isn't actually injured, he was merely written out of the storyline for whatever reason.

^
Took a bit of a whack on the head from that jacknife at Vengeance, didn't he? Obviously we're well aware Nash didn't actually attempt to murder him.

Trips took a powerbomb and oversold a sledgehammer assault that left him literally spewing whatever from his mouth. We've seen a lot more vicious attacks before and Triple H has used the sledgehammer against others a lot more over the top than Nash...Nash's assault was pretty lame and tame in my opinion. Not enough to put a guy out for "five weeks".

Sorry for the disappearance (I know, I know, all of you missed me horribly), but my internet has been a crawl for the last couple of weeks, owing to going a little over my bandwidth limit.

I wasn't thrilled with the beat-down on Triple H either, but I thought Nash cut a pretty strong promo on Raw last night. This feud isn't setting my brain on fire, but it's a nice element to the mix of what's going on right now.

^ Welcome back. Yeah aside from his I can still win a world championship spew, Nash can still very much cut a strong heel promo.

nash is one the best heels there is. though I do like him with gray hair than that bad dye job.

Team Orton Vs Team Barrett...anyone care?

Orton will lead Sheamus, Mason Ryan, WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston and Sin Cara into battle, while Barrett brings Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, Christian, Jack Swagger and Hunico.

not just no but hell no. I am sorry but the survivors series may bomb this year with those teams.

Gone are the days when both of the traditional Survivor Series matches would be built from stables that had spent weeks prior to the event in conflict with each other. The worst SS match has got to be 2006's Team DX massacre of Team Rated-RKO.

When you form a team going into Survivor Series it suggests that the team is made up of the most competent wrestlers you can find. This suggests that there will be eliminations on both teams and it's designed in part to elevate the wrestlers who have made the the teams. When you have a match where one team completely dominates the other and eliminates each member in quick succession, it defeats the purpose of booking the match in the first place.

The 2009 Survivor Series did it right with Team Morrison vs Team Miz. The fact that the match contained only contained non veterans and ended with two of the three sole survivors being newly debuted talent was an excellent booking decision.

Yeah the focus of Survivor Series this year isn't on the teams but The Rock and Cena Vs The Awesome Truth. There are no traditional stables in the WWE (yet anyway) and the teams revealed in Jetfire's thread are just pure face versus heels without any real story line build up.

Okay I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we are gonna see Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs The Next Big Thing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 28! After seeing this video I think he wants it and would ONLY return to face Austin.

Five pounds is about 12 bucks here so sure why not. I'll wire it to you over pay pal! I know there is probably of lot of talking needed to be done but I really get the feeling that Brock wants this last match. He is like Jericho and Undertaker...he will only come back on his terms for the right opponent and this might be a little Lesnar marking out (I'm not really a huge Brock fan as my other posts regarding him would indicate) but I would embrace this match whole heartedly. I'm also guessing it won't happen because Vince doesn't really want to overshadow Rock Vs Cena as well as Austin agreeing to it, but I'll take your bet Admiral M :)

Ok! It's on and this thread will serve as evidence should one of us try and "pull out". You can never be sure in the world of pro wrestling and there is still just under 9 months until Wrestlemania 28 actually occurs. So we'll see...

Honestly, my reasons for betting against it happening is down to the fact that Brock Lesnar hasn't wrestled since 2007 and Steve Austin needs to work with someone who can protect him. That's why someone like CM Punk is a possiblity for Austin coming out of retirement, because Punk has an excellent record of protecting his opponents in the ring and Austin needs that level of protection with his neck and other injuries.

And Brock won't be back to wrestle anybody, unless Dana White is willing to grant leniency upon his contract - something which is extremely hard to get from White on a good day. However, Brock has managed to get permission to work with WWE in a business capacity from White - so he could actually pull it off yet!

ETA: I'll also add that if it happens prior to Wrestlemania that I will lose the bet... Therefore if Brock Lesnar vs Steve Austin happens between now and Wrestlemania 28, you will win the bet - this is how confident I am of Brock not returning to the WWE within the next 9 months.

It could happen at Wrestlemania if Vince decides to go with getting an astronomical buyrate in favour of diminishing the year long buildup of Rock/Cena - but he's a businessman first and foremost and if Brock agreed to return on the condition that he wrestled Steve Austin at Wrestlemania, then it would probably go ahead.
