wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

yep they are but sometimes they are so worth it. they about a $100.00 more than front row seats.

On RAW Monday they had a guy with a "I Hate Cena" shirt... convenient that Cena now wears a "Rise Above Hate" shirt.

You are not following the conversation. We were talking about TNA & WWE planting people in the front row...you then posted about them being friends and family...which they may or may not be...but that wasn't the point...these people are planted to further stories...make the promotion look good...etc.

[edit] And you keep posting irrelevant info about being at these events and having merchandise...no one cares.

That is a mature response timothy.

I see on Slam Wrestling they are reporting a Kevin Nash Vs Triple H match at Survivor Series is almost certain. This would have been awesome ten years ago. I don't think we got to see a Diesel Vs Hunter Hearse Helmsley match back when Trips was first starting out. I'm guessing Sledgehammers will be in use. I bet this will be a "Street Fight"

Damn it. Another of my favourite Divas gone. They weren't really doing anything with her though after they dropped the angle with her being Ted Jr's valet.

WWE seems to be living up to what CM Punk spoke about in late June...seriously...what is up with this company? Ugh. :sigh: It isn't TNA...but it is getting there.

It is starting to reach TNA levels of frustration for me. Hopefully something actually happens at Survivor Series. If they prolong the main arc beyond next month I seriously can't see myself watching no matter what they do.

I wish I was a millionaire...I would start a wrestling promotion that would actually do things right...I know that sounds funny...but fuck it.

[edit] No one has to compete with the WWE or TNA or anyone else...they just need to offer a different product that is appealing to wrestling fans. ;)

I wonder what brought on Maryse's release? I know she had been medically cleared to return from her injury for at least a month, so it wasn't like she was unable to continue performing. You'd think that her relationship with The Miz would have stopped WWE from releasing her since it's usually customary to avoid doing things that would make a top talent unhappy, such as not having your partner on the road with you.

Even if a company offers an alternative product, the only way it's going to stand a chance is if it can source a level of financial backing similar to or better than WWE's current operating revenue. Assuming it does this, the company would then have to make sure they have the best people they can find handling the business side of things. After all, the greatest financial asset to WCW (Ted Turner) was also the greatest financial deterrent since the likes of Hulk Hogan constantly re-negotiated for contracts that paid them ludicrous amounts of money for very little work. A large financial backer is there to make sure you can afford to bring in top draws - not act as a reason for the top draws to demand more money.

Speaking of WCW, they had an incredible opportunity to gain control of the Mexican market as they signed several big name luchadores. The only problem was very few of them had any opportunity to climb the card and a lot of them declined to resign with the company and returned to Mexico. The few that stayed didn't really do anything and were booked to lose their masks in underbooked matches (an "unmasking" stipulation match is a very big deal in Lucha Libre, on par with the main event at a Wrestlemania).

And for the record, I reckon if I had the financial backing of a company, a top notch group of talent scouts, writers with a real passion from professional wrestling and one hell of a marketing team - I could probably create a pretty decent wrestling company. Of course, I wouldn't be involved with the business side of things and would focus mainly on talent and creative. Trouble is, I'd probably be losing a lot of talent to WWE because no new promotion can afford to pay their talent the kind of money they'd recieve in WWE. What's more, most indie wrestlers who go to WWE, do it purely for the financial stability and are content to work the mid card with anything better being a bonus.

You almost describe ROH...

But ROH isn't living up to it's full potential.

[edit] In one sense they want to be the anti WWE/TNA...but aren't making the bold steps to really fulfill that.

[also] It is funny...Paul Heyman said that a promotion needs to get rid of older guys to be innovative...but you still need a legend or two to capture an audience...ROH wants to give younger guys the spotlight...but I think you need a legend to pass the torch while getting fans in the seats. Blah! :)

Watch her appear on Impact Wrestling in a couple of weeks, following her fellow Canadian Gail Kim! Just joking. I wouldn't be surprised if she was signed though. Maryse would be awesome as a member of the Beautiful People.

Just read some future Impact Wrestling spoilers...what is the point in taping in advance if the dirt sheets are just going to spoil things. No wonder they're ratings are so damned low each week. Anyway this Beer Money break up was totally predictable. Sigh. Also Hogan possibly hinted with a recent tweet that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan might return with helping the Stinger!!! Vince doesn't own the "Hollywood" name? I'm curious as to what Vince does actually own regarding rights to Hogan's stuff.
