wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

^ LOL. Watching the replay. Can't say that i'm thrilled with the way the angle is playing out. Okay I didn't bother watching the rest of it after Vince made the announcement that John L would be interim General Manager. As Jetfire stated this is starting to become predictable...not to mention boring as hell now. How long are they going to take before executing the pay off? They've dropped the ball on this angle so many times it's not fun any more. I do have a question though...over how long a period of time did the original nWo storyline go before Hogan's big heel turn happened at Bash of the Beach? It was two or three months right? Maybe they're replicating the time period as well.

Brock Lesnar is a playable superstar in WWE '12!

As you may be aware, WWE and Brock Lesnar have a working business agreement and this is the reason why Brock has been featured in the game. The stipulation was that Brock had to be featured as "Brock Lesnar the wrestler" and not as an MMA fighter. This was by order of Dana White - the promoter of UFC where Brock is contracted as a fighter.

The working agreement extends to Paul Heyman as well, since Lesnar and Heyman have their own agreement (Heyman helped Lesnar pen his autobiography). Here is hoping that Lesnar and Heyman will eventually return to wrestling!

Edit: It looks as if Brock may have warmed up to the idea about a return to the ring after all!

He's always stated that a return would be under the right circumstance (i.e I'm assuming that means he gets to choose the opponent and be involved in the creative aspects of the match along with the outcome). I doubt he would return just to job to someone.

So timothy how was the Smackdown taping tonight? Apparently Shawn's appearance will not air on TV.

Slam Wrestling reports that Bischoff and Hogan's extensions are for two more years.

The 3 Hour Raw on Nov 14 is going to be advertised as the "Rock Reunion Show". More build up I assume before his Survivor Series appearance/match.

did'nt get to go to smackdown this week I am in new york for two weeks.

all so botchamania 185 is up.

Did anyone catch the exchange between Vicky and John L when the superstars were walking back into the building? I still think that Vicky's stable is apart from whatever this overall story has evolved into...can we call it an invasion? I don't know what to call it. It is interesting how they're using the heels and faces each week to tell this story.

With regards to Admiral M's Survivor Series team picks, I should have clarified that I agree with most of those picks except for Kevin Nash. I don't know what his shooting schedule is for that film but I don't really think we're going to be seeing him. Also it is interesting that you are mixing both Raw and Smackdown superstars in your team picks. I dunno if the teams will be part of a 'supershow' PPV or not. I'd have to do some thinking about my own picks. They'd be about the same though.

Also finally I've been thinking about the search for the new Raw General Manager...think it's a perfect gig for a returning Mick Foely who upon his return would be over right away as a face. Since John L is supposed to be a heel GM it makes sense. Doubt it will happen since Mick has already been WWE Commish once before.

What do you think are the biggest mistakes that WWE have made this year? For me...

- Most of the Wrestlemania 27 card.
- John Cena winning the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules.
- Drafting John Cena to Smackdown, only to draft him back to Raw on the same night.
- Randy Orton defeating Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship, 48 hours after he won the title.
- The John Cena VS The Miz match at Over The Limit.
- The Obama impersonator at Capitol Punishment.
- The entire "two WWE Champions" debacle.
- Alberto Del Rio winning the WWE Championship at Summerslam.
- John Cena winning the WWE Championship at Night Of Champions.
- Airing commercials during PPV's.

I'd have to go with Cena/Smackdown, The Sin Cara/Sin Cara thing, Cena winning the title at NOC, the Obama impersonator, Del Rio winning the WHC and Orton beating Christian two nights after he won the title.

The rest of those things I largely didn't have a problem with.

The build-up to Summerslam continues to be solid, but I really have absolutely no feelings one way or the other with John L. He's just this bland distraction to me.

Back to mock odds! This time we're looking at the Royal Rumble winner. Despite the fact that John Cena is scheduled to face The Rock, this is pro wrestling and illogical booking decisions happen all the time so don't count out Cena yet, although I've left both him and The Rock out from the odds. Apparently, Dave Meltzer has claimed that WWE is currently planning a Smackdown winner. However, it is still early days and they may decide to go with a Raw winner or even a wildcard debuting/re-debuting wrestler.

2/1: Randy Orton
3/1: CM Punk
3/1: Alberto Del Rio
4/1: Mark Henry
5/1: The Miz
5/1: Triple H
8/1: Cody Rhodes
8/1: The Big Show
10/1: R-Truth
10/1: Christian
10/1: Wade Barrett
12/1: Kane
12/1: Chris Jericho
15/1: Jack Swagger
15/1: Dolph Ziggler
20/1: The Undertaker
20/1: Daniel Bryan (should he lose/cash in the MITB briefcase prior to the Royal Rumble)
25/1: Stone Cold Steve Austin
25/1: Shawn Michaels
25/1: Santino
30/1: Zack Ryder
30/1: Brock Lesnar
50/1: Vince McMahon
100/1: Any Diva
100/1: Michael Cole

It's so early to think about the Royal Rumble winner and a Smackdown winner would be interesting (they really need to stop this brand business, there's no point any more). Randy Orton is my pick from Smackdown. CM Punk is my pick from Raw. If Cena isn't already champion again or dropped the belt for the umpteenth time I'd pick him.

There was talk about having the Royal Rumble winner use their title shot at Elimination Chamber...

The last time that happened (2008), we got stuck with a three way match between Triple H, Randy Orton and John Cena at Wrestlemania. To be fair though, it was cool that Orton got himself DQ'd in order to waste Cena's title shot  !

They are starting to return to the favourites winning the Royal Rumble again. Between 2006 and 2010 it was unpredictable. From what I can recall...

1998: Favourite was Steve Austin - Steve Austin won.
1999: Favourite was Steve Austin - Vince McMahon won.
2000: Favourite was The Rock - The Rock won.
2001: Favourite was Steve Austin - Steve Austin won.
2002: Favourite was Triple H - Triple H won.
2003: Favourite was Brock Lesnar - Brock Lesnar won.
2004: Favourite was Chris Benoit - Chris Benoit won.
2005: Favourite was Batista - Batista won.
2006: Favourite was Randy Orton - Rey Mysterio won.
2007: Favourite was Shawn Michaels - The Undertaker won.
2008: Favourite was Triple H - John Cena won.
2009: Favourite was Triple H - Randy Orton won.
2010: Favourite was Chris Jericho - Edge won.

2011: Favourite was Alberto Del Rio - Alberto Del Rio won.

HHH is gonna bring back DX! :p

Again?

Yeah WWE.com has video of the DX Reunion during the Smackdown taping in Dallas

About Royal Rumble...how far are they gonna push Brodus Clay? They keep showing his promos.

It would be cool if they did a Goldberg and had Brodus Clay go on a streak and just destroy people until RR.

Maybe they are pushing Clay to face Mark Henry eventually? I can't remember which show Clay is on. He's not really someone that screams star to me...in fact he screams epic fail!

I keep forgetting Brodius Clay even exists. That should tell you something about how much I'm interested in him.

I've been typically surprised by Rumble winners over the past few years, and I like that. It's one of the few times in the year when I stand to be completely surprised.

Hmmm. Looks like they're attempting another live show test. I'm guessing that eventually this is where they will move Smackdown. Speaking of Smackdown...how much of a fail is their theme song? I can't stand it. Raw's is much better.
