wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

So far Raw has been meh...they're building up to getting to the aftermath from last night but meh. Look! All the heels in one ring with the WWE Champion! In the words of JR...business is about to pick up!!!

You can get a digital camera for cheap. :(

[edit] I have seen them for under $20 at Walmart and decent ones between $30-$40...don't you want to capture some memories?

Well, the ending for Raw was certainly different...

I was hoping that we'd see some people come out into the ring and "stand by" Triple H, as it were. Instead, everyone from the wrestlers to the ringside cameramen, let their positions and walked out.

When John Laurinaitis came out, I was thinking that something was going to happen here, perhaps the return of Vince, or something bigger. But I guess they'll keep us waiting until they need to sell more SS PPV's!

I'm such a mark for these type of finishes. I love them. I have said from the start that we won't get answers or a definitive plot movement until after Survivor Series.

@timothy if you're attending the Smackdown tapings next week, it appears you will be in for a treat as Shawn Michaels is expected to return to television then.

I was cruising around twitter last night after the ppv last night and noticed that the nWo had it's own hash tag and someone calling themselves The Real Scott Hall (have no idea if it is Scott Hall)tweeted something about HBK calling him and he mentioned the nWo. Take that with a grain of salt but I thought it interesting.

It's probably not really him, I doubt Hall calls people "chico" outside of his Razor Ramon character. Asides from that, I'm glad Twitter have pioneered the "account verified" badges for public figures in order to counteract the problem of internet imitators.

I was having a thought earlier about how WWE could use the "no confidence" situation with Triple H in their favour. They've been trying to get the ratings on Smackdown! up for a while now, and it seems that they are in a position to do so.

All they have to do is create a split, by having those who don't want to work for Triple H (even with mediation) go to Smackdown! While those who don't mind working with Triple H go to Raw. The ratings would increase considerably if big name talent went to Smackdown, and done so in a way that would continue this storyline on both shows.

I'm thinking that this might come down to the brands being unified once more. If it comes to Vince and Triple H fighting for control of the WWE, it will eventually end up with one of them gaining complete control of the WWE. If that's the case, then by having each of them in control of a brand (50% of thereabouts of the company) would create a reason for the brands being unified at the storyline conclusion. If that were to happen, they should keep the Intercontinental and United States Championships, get rid of the World Heavyweight Championship (by unifying it with the WWE Championship) and work on raising the prestige of the secondary titles - with the mentality that those who win them are top stars or on the way to becoming a world champion.

That is interesting...i don't know that they would actually do that but it's an interesting thought. I've been doing some thinking...what if they reveal John L was the anonymous Raw GM? They could say that the stuff going down now stretches back a long time and has been festering since the Guest Host status was instituted. He could be the heel GM. I don't think this is what they're going to do but i think it would be cool. Honestly they could have done about a dozen really cool and satisfying things by now. This is turning out to be like a season of Smallville!!! Constant teasing and erratic story telling that doesn't make sense. As much as I keep on harping on the nWo I think I'm ultimately going to be disappointed when things are revealed. What is this even about any more? I think creative have lost a bit of control of their story line. Punk is not even really important any more. He's over yes...The Awesome Truth are over as uber-heels. The potential heel stable are almost over, but the focus from creative is starting to falter IMO.

Also another thing that I noticed while rewatching Nash/HHH/Punk segment from a month or so ago is when Nash came out to the nWo theme music...the words were not there :) LOL. yeah yeah I'm doing my best to reach high here :)

but the focus from creative is starting to falter IMO.

Agreed, there is far too much emphasis on Triple H, when there should be emphasis on the WWE as a whole and the potential for how the situation is affecting everyone, rather than just one person.

But that's how wrestling generally works, when they do it right they can build new stars and create main eventers from those who are stuck in the mid card, but most of the time the focus is on the top guys - in this case, Triple H.

I think they really count on most of their fanbase forgetting about things and not paying attention most of the time. For those of us who do...it's incredibly frustrating and I'm impatient now. I want to start getting pay off, whatever it is. They're teasing something big...I'm ready to find out what now. WHAT?? LOL.

Also regarding the return of the nWo...i just wanna here one of the new members (if it happens) cut a promo that says "From chaos and anarchy must come a new world order! It has been a long time, but we're back baby and we're just too sweeeeeeeet!!!!"

They've definitely got more of my interest these past few months than they have for a good deal of 2011. I think this year will be remembered as an underrated one, but it's still nice to finally get something that can easily stand on its own. Last night's Raw was good matches with a perfect ending to the show. I don't think it could have been any better, and they're establishing some fantastic build-up.

The 12-man wasn't nearly the clusterfuck I thought it was going to be.

I agree. It was actually pretty entertaining and seemed to me a potential preview for potential Survivor Series teams. I am curious to see if the Rock will be incorporated into this current ongoing storyline when he appears next month or if they'll continue to keep him and his feud with Cena separate. It seems like it would be implausible to do since this conspiracy angle has encompassed everything and everyone now. I didn't mention it before but I really liked the fact that the King returned and was the one who really spoke up to Trips. I am also really liking Cody Rhodes lately but he really needs to get rid of the face plate lol.

This is from Wrestling Observer...
It was noted that during the final segment on RAW last night, names like John Cena, CM Punk,Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly weren’t at ringside. Word is that WWE was expecting the fans to boo the Superstars who walked out and didn’t want certain ones getting heat from the crowd.

Interesting...I don't think it would have mattered cause other faces were out there.

That is an interesting decision, one that I disagree with. Why play it safe at all at this point in the angle? those guys should have been out, and I wondered were Eve and Kelly Kelly were. Also found it interesting that they came out to Beth's music. She's clearly meant to be seen as the face of the Divas despite Kelly's popularity right now.

Nope. Apparently afterwards Zach Ryder had a change of heart back stage and Trrips gave him the pedigree (in character and part of the show still of course). LOL.

THAT was it? The RAW I was at (when Mike Tyson guest host/starred a couple years ago) it was John Cena v. Sheamus (c) for the title.

They did have a dark match...there might have been something else. I can't remember now. I think they wanted the impact of the no confidence vote to be resounding to the audience.
