wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I have to be careful what I say because I don't want to sound like a member of the IWC!

I have no problems with John Cena being champion once or twice per year. He's the top guy in WWE and that status lends itself to buyrates. It's just that when Cena is booked to lose the belt, win it, (well win a farce version of it and destroy Rey Mysterio's push in the process) lose it and then win it again in the space of two months that WWE becomes a joke.

John Cena might break Ric Flair's record, but John Cena will never be considered anywhere near Ric Flair in wrestling stardom. Sure, Cena is the star of the moment and one of the top guys that WWE has ever had. But when you place Cena alongside Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and The Rock, you can really see the difference.

There wasn't anything "amazing" about the Attitude era, it was a time when WWE was doing everything and anything they could to win the ratings war with WCW. The quality of wrestling was pretty average compared to what we see these days. Sure, there was a lot more blood, garbage matches and insane stunts, but without good wrestling, it's not...Wrestling.

Edit: Well the CM Punk VS Triple H match was a mess. They had R-Truth and The Miz come down and interfere for no reason, then John Laurinaitis came out and stopped the referee from making the count. Then you have Kevin Nash making an appearance which results in Triple H smashing him with the sledgehammer. Finally after surviving two Pedigrees, a Jacknife Powerbomb and intereference from Truth and Miz, CM Punk gets nailed by a final Pedigree for the three. Triple H showed no signs of a possible heel turn and everyone was left confused by what the hell was going on...

I'm at a loss to explain it, is John Laurinaitis meant to be the mastermind? How can he be when he's forbidden from cutting promos?

From your description methinks the new world order is returning. With John L playing the Bischoff role??? I'm gonna have to see the ending for myself later. Otherwise it does sound like a completely bullocks finish. I did predict Punk would get a beat down :)

well fantastic ppv over all. kinda glad Kelly, kelly kept her title. it keeps her fued going with the diva's of doom. the tripple HHH vs Cm punk match was awesome.
@ admiral young I told John L was going to interfear just did'nt know how.

^ Uhhh what? This is a TNA style finish if I ever heard...I'm gonna have to watch this. A lot of people are upset from what I'm reading, especially the Cena haters lol.

The main event was a very good match, it was just full of weird occurences. I know we all expected Nash to interfere, but what was with The Miz and R-Truth coming out and attacking BOTH men? Why did John Laurinaitis stop the referee from counting pinfalls?

A lot of people blame Vince McMahon for these types of crap PPV's. He might be responsible, who knows? I blame the creative team, because whilst they have protected CM Punk they've dethroned Alberto Del Rio just as he was getting over.

It's the WWE when have they ever made any kinda sense.

Well they've usually tried to (following Vince Russo's departure in 1999, admist the peak of his crazy booking ideas that involved Mae Young giving birth to a hand and Mark Henry being the father!), but it doesn't always go to plan!

Tonight is a good example of WWE not making any sense, despite trying to in the weeks leading up to the Triple H VS CM Punk match. At this stage it's anybody's guess as to what's going on.

Actually the Mae Young baby thing reminded me of Bothamania 183 where Maffew put in crowd chantings of Mae Young during one of Henry's matches lol. Raw should be interesting but I doubt it will be.

Just thinking about that storyline still freaks me out. I know Mae Young is one of those people who isn't offended by risque stunts or blue humour, but the storyline served to ruin Henry's career for a time.

But Mark took it in stride, he was happy to go along with it like a true pro and following his departure in 2000 and return in 2002, he was once again the dominant force that he debuted as.

I've always thought that WWE should have promoted Henry like WCW did Goldberg. As this unstoppable beast who destroyed opponent after opponent. I mean Goldberg had no chemistry on the mic for the longest time and he was their top star. So anyways I'm kind of glad that Henry finally has a title.

I know we all expected Nash to interfere, but what was with The Miz and R-Truth coming out and attacking BOTH men?

Without having actually seen the PPV, this makes complete sense given that R-Miz has been complaining about the conspiracy against them since HHH became COO--get to the root of the matter by attacking HHH and anyone currently in the main event.

Okay so I've seen the ending to the main event...pretty messy but I've theories. As I mentioned before and as Sheep just pointed out Miz and Truth were out to attack the perpetrators of the conspiracy against them...but what if they're actually part of the conspiracy? What is the greatest wrestling conspiracy angle (aside from the Montreal Screw Job) three little letters...nWo. These are all new world order style tactics being used in this story line. I'm now 100 percent convinced. Again unless they don't do it at all or they show me otherwise the nWo is returning. Especially with Nash coming out of the crowd and attacking both Trips and Punk, Trips can now claim on Raw that he had nothing to do with what happened and has no clue what is happening only to reveal later on that these were all lies. I maybe stretching things out but it would make the finish make sense.

It sounds like from stuff I am reading here and other sites that NoC was a pretty bizarro PPV. I like Henry with the World title...SuperCENA getting the WWE title doesn't surprise me.

I will be looking forward to catching RAW later tonight or sometime Tues morning.

I actually was kind of surprised Cena got the title back. At least this soon.

I'm glad I didn't make any predictions. Not one of them would have been right, but I will say I thought NoC was a tremendous show. One of WWE's best this year.

NoC was awesome I put it right with MitB ppv. I am woundering if the new NWO will be:

The Miz
R-truth
Cm Punk
Kevin Nash
john L.

Again why would CM Punk JOIN the nWo he is a face!!!! He's the one this mysterious stable has been going after! Sometimes timothy your predictions make no sense. I can see the rest of them being members though since they were suggested in the WWE article.

NOC was a disappointing PPV and in no way on the same bar as Money in the Bank...the crowd was dead for most of the matches.
