wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I think if Hogan and Flair do have a match, it would be a great time to bring back the viagra on a pole concept.

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:^^

I think you miss understood me. If Ric beats Sting,Sting goes home If Sting Beats Ric, Sting faces Hulk Hogan at the next PPV.

Kurt Angel vs Sting title rematch tonight. and kurt say's by the rules this time.
and Hulk Hogan special enforcer.

@Captain M didn't misunderstand you timothy he was making a joke about their age...and It think you misunderstood the poster. It is teasing a future match between Hogan and Sting after Sting and Flair at Bound for Glory as you said.

Alberto Del Rio missed both Raw and Smackdown this week because he's in Mexico attempting to get his work visa settled. I could see WWE using this as a storyline...

Matt Hardy has announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Hopefully this will be a good thing for him. This comes after he posted a "suicide" video which turned out to be a hoax in bid for attention. It was some really worrying stuff and apparently, Hardy's local sheriff department recieved some 30 calls concerned about his well being.

It's a shame that Matt never recieved the world championship push. Throughout his career there have been times where he has been more than capable of being a world champion.

As long as he doesn't do a Terry Funk and announce his comeback a few weeks later. Hardy is financially set for life, he's made a lot of money and been wise with it. Whilst professional wrestling is always going to be his passion, it's probably for the best that he retires now rather than risk further issues. I'm not against Hardy wrestling occasionly as part of special exhibition events (a'la Lance Storm) but for the sake of his own wellbeing, he should stay away from the business on a full time basis.

Matt Hardy would make an excellent trainer. He along with his brother and several others helped redefine wrestling in the late 1990's. Their contributions to tag team wrestling were invaluable and a lot of new wrestlers could learn a lot from him.

I wonder if this has anything to do with jeff return to Impact wrestling. I am just wondering if he's following his brother into retirement. I'll miss Matt.

I'm hoping that Jeff Hardy has got over his substance problems. I think it will be a mistake if TNA put him straight into the main event. I said a while ago that when Jeff returns he should be placed into the tag team division so he can travel with someone who can keep him on the straight and narrow, whilst he also shares the work in a match.

I think the trouble with Jeff is that too much, too soon inevitably leads to him feeling burnt out. In the past this has caused him to "party hard". If he slowly works his way back into full time programs, it shouldn't be much of a problem for him.

Personally I think Jeff should have retired as well. I think he's going to have a "relapse" incident of some kind. Hopefully of course I am wrong but he seems to have a habit of repeating his mistakes or getting into trouble.

It seems to be that when Jeff is put into the main event, he struggles to cope. In 2002/2003 in the WWE, he was approaching main event status. Jeff was really over and worked a series with the Undertaker and others, it was then that he failed a drug test and asked for his release.

Following his return in 2006, he worked steady in the upper mid card competing for the Intercontinental Championship and working tag team matches with Matt. At the end of 2007 he was incredibly over and was working the main event with Triple H. Then he was suspended for 60 days shortly before Wrestlemania. Upon his return he eventually went into the main event and held the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship, but following a program with CM Punk he asked for his release again in order to take time off. It was then rumored that he had tested positive for something following his release, which means he would have been fired anyway in all likelyhood.

The pattern that emerges is that when Jeff is working at the top of the card, he succumbs to pressure and goes off the rails a bit. We saw this most recently when he was in no condition to have a match with Sting (again following a main event run). TNA did the right thing here, they suspended him and demanded that he seek help.

^ Yep, good observations. I was just going to point out before you posted that he seems to not be able to take the pressure of being "the show". Which sucks because he's been put over and made champion only to suffer breakdowns or whatever. The incident at Victory Road I think is gonna be the breaking point for most fans. Jeff is really gonna have to show fans and TNA brass that he is able to perform and deal with whatever they give him to do. Or else that's the last straw. Personally, Victory Road was the last straw for me (as harsh as that maybe sounds).

well if he does come back I hope it's as a face. when the hardyz try to do the heel thing it just comes off as annoying to me. an anyone who abuse's drugs or alchol is'nt cured there still sick. because I do believe it's a dissease they have.I Just hope they have someone watching him.

Not harsh at all and I agree with you 100%.

I think it's time for another top 10. This time it's "gimmicks" (note that these are pure gimmicks and not gimmicks based on a wrestlers real personality eg, Steve Austin, Randy Orton, etc). Here is my list...

1. Hulk Hogan (American Hero/NWO Leader)
2. The Undertaker (Mortician/Phenom/Cult Leader/Biker/Outlaw)
3. The Rock (Arrogant Jock/The People's Champion/Hollywood Star)
4. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase (Ruthless Millionaire)
5. Roddy Piper (Rowdy Scotsman)
6. Sting (Surfer/Crow/Wolfpac/Joker)
7. John "Bradshaw" Layfield (Successful Businessman)
8. Jake "The Snake" Roberts (Ruthless Snake Handler)
9. Mankind (Tortured Soul)
10. Goldust (Deranged Moviestar)

^ That'd pretty much be my list as well. Except I'd add "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and take out Jake Roberts. Stone Cold's anti-hero gimmick pretty much elevated WWE up and over WCW's popular nWo storyline. The gimmick was a story line it's self.
