wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

yes Admiral Impact is borrrriiinnnggg. I expect the Jung Dragons vs High Voltage any day now. Sad to say but sometimes you only have one idea and after that you just keep rehashing it to death. At least had Dixie brought in Heyman there would have been some original ideas. Hogan and Bischoff really need to go away and take Jarrett, Sting, Steiner and Tazz with them.
I do however like the Bully Ray character and he has sure dropped some weight. If he was smart he would run for WWE when his next deal comes up.

The Dudley's left the WWE on bad terms as well IIRC and Vince was a pain in the arse about the rights to the Dudley name since he owns it now along with their music. That is why they changed their names when they signed with Impact Wrestling.

is'nt that why mr. kennedy changed his name to mr.anderson. I was surprised taz got to keep his name after all.

The WWE owns the rights to many other things too. It can be a real problem for wrestlers when they work elsewhere. Off the top of my head, along with the Dudley Boys name and music, the WWE owns...

Mankind (the name and the gimmick)
The Ultimate Warrior (Jim Hellwig changed his name to Warrior to get round this)
Road Dogg/The Roadie (became BG James)
Billy Gunn/Mr Ass (became The Outlaw, Kip James or Monty Sopp)
X-Pac (known as Syxx, Syxx-Pac or Sean Waltman)
Mr Kennedy (replaced Kennedy with his real surname "Anderson")
Rhyno (Terry Gerin just reverted to the "Rhino" spelling to get around this)
Tazz (Pete Senercha reverted to using the name "Taz")
Test (when Andrew Martin briefly wrestled for TNA, he went by "The Punisher" Andrew Martin)
Viscera/Big Daddy V (Nelson Fraser now wrestles as Big Daddy Voodoo in AJPW)
Albert/A-Train (Matt Bloom is now known by Giant Bernard in NJPW)
Vance Archer (Lance Hoyt now goes by Lance Archer in NJPW)
Scotty 2 Hotty (Scott Taylor uses his real name)
Grandmaster Sexay (Brian Lawler goes by his real name)

Additionally it is likely that Vladimir Kozlov and Chris Masters will be forbidden from using those names following their release. At the same time I think it is unlikely that Harry Smith will go by DH Smith in a hurry and WWE cannot trademark "Melina" since it is Melina Perez' real first name.

The only time this isn't a problem for Wrestlers is when use their real names since The WWE doesn't own that. John Cena can continue to use his own name on another brand if he decides to leave the WWE, though I doubt the WWE will ever let him go.

If he was let go he might be prevented from using the gimmick that he uses in WWE. WWE have been known to block nicknames and elements of wrestlers gimmicks in the past.

Cena's gimmick for the last four or five years actually reminds me a bit of Kurt Angle's "Respect" gimmick. Cena's gimmick is really that he is a parody of himself. He really does need a new one. I don't think creative cares much or knows what to do. It's part of the problem with turning him heel I think. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of things you can do with John.

Well there are tons of things you could do with Cena but all of them would cost you merchandise sales so you must be very careful when you repackage. I think you could still sell as much if you just turned Cena dark. Black shirt, black jeans, black hat and armbands. Change the phrase on his shirt from Hustle, loyalty and respect to something much darker like Punish, Hurt and Abuse.

Time for another list methinks. I was thinking about big men (calm your dirty minds, I'm talking about larger wrestlers!) and debating with myself which could be called the best of all time. So here is my list of the 10 best big men of all time.

1. Giant Baba (AJPW)
2. Andre The Giant (Indie/Territorial/WWF)
3. Jumbo Tsuruta (AJPW)
4. Vader (AWA/NJPW/WCW/WWF/AJPW/NOAH)
5. Bam Bam Bigelow (WWF/NWA/NJPW/ECW/Indie)
6. Yokozuna (AWA/WWF/Indie)
7. The Undertaker (WCW/WWF)
8. Kane (WWF)
9. The Big Show (WCW/WWF)
10. Earthquake (AJPW/WWF/WCW)

Sounds like a good list to me:

1. Andre the Giant
2. The Undertaker
3. Giant Baba
4. Vader
5. The Big Show
6. Bam Bam Bigelow
7. Big John Studd
8. Jumbo Tsuruta
9. Kane
10. John Tenta

Cena's character doesn't bother me, but I'd like to see more, and I think he's capable of it. I guess it just comes down to creative trying to stretch their minds a bit, but they seem more content to play it safe. That makes sense, I suppose, but it's still a shame.

@Icemizer yeah I pretty much suggested going for an anti-Cena after the Rock stuff similar to what you suggested. Just invert Cena, kind of like R-Truth's heel character only ramp it up even more for John. I can see him being a terrific heel, he would be over with heat in a second if they did it properly.

I Love the rock as a face or a heel cause I am one of the millions. and I hope he does show up at survivor series. like it has been suggested.

If you are watching Smackdown look out for rats! Did anyone see the one on RAW? It scurried by the ramp at the end of the show.

the new sin cara still need practice and from tonight appearence he needs to be on botchamania. and I am so sick of mark henry.

even though I love the new diva's of DOOM, Kelly, kelly is making one hell of a champion.
