wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

If he couldn't fight, or even train to fight because of his Diverticulitus, then I don't see him wrestling.

But apparently's "He's back!"

to the UFC.

I like Brock...I had hoped he would return to WWE...I want Batista to come back too.

I am hoping they do something cool with Mason Ryan when he returns.

So, you like em big with no mic skills, eh?

I think DBD said it best:

I wish Sting would just make the damn deal, and if I were WWE I'd give him any kind of schedule he might want. I don't see WWE burying him. It would make more sense to keep in mind his enormous value as a legend, and to book him accordingly.

I don't think the Taker streak will ever end, and I'm not sure I want it to. There's guys who would benefit from such an honor, but I also can't think of anyone who needs a push like that, and would also be able to utilize the fallout from winning to its fullest.

@Satyrquaze I like The Miz. :p Big guys add to the spectacle that is pro wrestling...guys with no mic skills usually get teamed up with a manager...something that WWE hasn't really done too much as of late...I'd like to see Mason Ryan back with CM Punk when he returns...or with The Miz.

It's more down to how Vince McMahon thinks. He is adamant that if someone hasn't become a star in his organisation, that they should be humbled and made to work for their spot.

Although that isn't the case with many legends in the pro wrestling business. I imagine that Vince wouldn't offer Sting the same luxuries he is accustomed to in TNA. Based on a rough estimate on what Ric Flair recieved and the sort of thing that would persuade most wrestling legends to sign...

A high six-figure downside
A maximum of 16 dates per month, including 4 Raw/Smackdown appearances, 1 PPV and 11 house show dates.
First class travel
A 20% merchandise royalty cut

Now that was essentially what Ric Flair recieved, but the thing with Sting is, in TNA he only has to work 4 or 5 house show dates a month. That is a maximum of 10 dates he has to do with the company. Furthermore he has a level of creative control over his character and it would appear that the Joker character came about because Sting agreed to it. Had he not, TNA would have just accepted his decision.

The same can't be said for WWE, where you have to do what the creative wants (unless you have a lot of pull backstage) and refusing to do so can easily result in the loss of your job.

Batista thinks what AJ does isn't wrestling story telling? Wow. He's been indoctrined big time then by Vince. What he has done in his career pales in comparison to AJ. What a laughable comment.

Time for another list methinks. I was thinking about big men (calm your dirty minds, I'm talking about larger wrestlers!) and debating with myself which could be called the best of all time. So here is my list of the 10 best big men of all time.

1. Giant Baba (AJPW)
2. Andre The Giant (Indie/Territorial/WWF)
3. Jumbo Tsuruta (AJPW)
4. Vader (AWA/NJPW/WCW/WWF/AJPW/NOAH)
5. Bam Bam Bigelow (WWF/NWA/NJPW/ECW/Indie)
6. Yokozuna (AWA/WWF/Indie)
7. The Undertaker (WCW/WWF)
8. Kane (WWF)
9. The Big Show (WCW/WWF)
10. Earthquake (AJPW/WWF/WCW)

^
Off that list...

Kane
The Undertaker
Andre The Giant
Bam Bam
Vader
Big Show

:bolian:

^
King Kong Bundy(Five!!!!!)
John Studd

Bundy and Studd should knock both Earthquake and Yokozuna off that list

At the same time I've just had a think about which people in wrestling are legitmate tough guys and/or skilled competitive fighters. Not another list, just a few names of people who are known for their ability to kick someone's ass for real.

Kurt Angle (Olympic athlete, numerous instances where he's ended fights quickly with his amateur wrestling ability)
Meng (one mean guy, once took out a gang of unruly men singlehandedly which included him biting a chunk out of one of the guys noses!)
William Regal (spent his early years in England in amateur shoot wrestling competitions, once shot on Goldberg during a match)
Rick Rude (former bouncer, knocked a troublemaker out with a slap)
Ken Shamrock (highly decorated mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler)
Don Fyre, Dan Severn, Tank Abbot and Kazuyuki Fujita (see Ken Shamrock)
Bad News Brown (the only man who intimidated Andre The Giant)
The Big Show (trained boxer who is renowned backstage for his strength and ending fights by shoving his opponents across the room)
Antonio Inoki (once fought Muhammed Ali in a shoot match where he kicked the crap out of Ali's legs from a ground guard for 20 minutes)
Brock Lesnar (decorated amateur wrestler and mixed martial artist)

I was thinking about something and I cannot remember at all...who was the Japanese wrestler who had a female "interpreter" as a geisha? I remember something with John Cena on Smackdown...I really didn't pay attention too much back then. :p

That would be Kenzo Suzuki, his WWE run was uneventful and he found it difficult to adapt to the WWE style. He has since returned to his native Japan where he has found success.

I always liked his wife(which I didn't know until I just looked it up) Hiroko. :D

timothy we do not need to be reminded when Impact and Smackdown come on...further more we all know how to use Google to find spoilers. :p ...when you watch just comment on stuff. :D

CM Punk as a PONY! :)

Joker Sting is utterly ridiculous. He seriously can't believe that this use of his character would be better than what Vince would have done? Impact Wrestling will never be what it could be.

^ That's my favourite Sting incarnation. The silent Crow character was pretty cool at the start of the war against the nWo as well.

Watching the opening monologue between Flair and Sting on Impact Wrestling reminds me of watching an bad episode of WCW Thunder!!
