He doesn't seem to have any shame about doing it either. A few months back he borrowed $60,000 from a wrestling merchandise company known as "High-Spots". He refused to pay back the money and naturally a massive legal trial ensued which eventually ruled against Flair, however he managed to get away without paying back the full amount.

I would say in his late WCW days, Flair was probably sitting on several million dollars in net earnings from his NWA, WWF and WCW heyday. Its seems his divorces have cost him greatly.

I think its time for best Cruiser/Junior Heavy/Light weight wrestlers of the last 20 years (1990-2010)

1. Ultimo Dragon (UWA/CMLL/WCW/Toryumon/WWE)
2. Jushin Liger (NJPW/WCW/ROH/CMLL/PWG/JAPW)
3. Low Ki (Independent/ROH/TNA/NJPW/PWG/WWE)
4. Taka Michinoku (/WWF/AJPW/DDT/MPW)
5. Rey Mysterio Jr (Independent/ECW/WCW/WWE)
6. Eddie Guerrero (Independent/ECW/WCW/WWE)
7. Mistico (CMLL/WWE)
8. The Great Sasuke (NJPW/FMW/UWF/MPW)
9. Tiger Mask 4 (MPW/NJPW)
10. KENTA (ROH/NOAH)

CMLL (Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre) is one of the two big wrestling promotions in Mexico. It is also the oldest wrestling promotion still running worldwide. CMLL has produced such wrestlers as Sin Cara (Mistico), Konnan and Alberto Del Rio (Dos Caras Jr).

Mexican and Japanese professional wrestling can be obscure to the American pro wrestling fan. Both are built around particular styles and still maintain strict kayfabe. Japanese pro wrestling is known as Puroresu and is built around technical skill, long matches and stiff work. Mexican pro wrestling or Lucha-Libre, on the other hand is based on acroboatic feats, fast paced matches and character driven (masks, etc). Mexican pro wrestlers also work on the right side of the body as opposed to the left as they do in America. This is one of reasons Sin Cara has had some teething problems adapting to the WWE style. Alberto Del Rio on the other hand spent over a year in FCW learning to work the other side of the body and adapt to the WWE style of wrestling, something which Sin Cara didn't have the opportunity to do because he was called up immediately to the main roster.

One of the most important elements of Lucha Libre wrestling is the mask. The mask is a wrestelrs gimmick and until they lose the mask they are sworn to secrecy. Their identities are often not common knowledge and their real names aren't released. If a wrestler loses their mask they often reveal their full name and how long they have been a pro wrestler. In most cases they continue to wrestle with the same level of popularity as before (usually because they've built respect and a fanbase), but losing the mask has been an issue for some wrestlers. In WCW, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis and Rey Mysterio all lost their masks in matches that weren't exactly high profile (matches with unmasking stipulations in Mexico are a big deal). Rey struggled to regain his momentum until he came to the WWE and put a new mask on, Juventud has worked sparingly for various organisations and Psicosis, despite having a brief run in the WWE hasn't really captured the same success of his feuds with Mysterio and others in the mid 1990's.

thanks for that don't get much mexican or japanese wrestling I expect it's fun to watch. looking forward to tonight to see who becomes the new wwe champion and to see if cm punk shows up. after all he was at comic con.

The Big Show had the biggest downside guarantee ever in the WWE when he first debuted. His contract was for 10 years with a guaranteed $1 million dollar annual downside. IIRC he continued to recieve this salary during his OVW hiatus between 2000 and 2001. This continued until 2007 when he negiotiated his release, only to return less than a year later.

Its a scary thought to consider how much John Cena is worth. Being continually at the top of the card from 2005 onwards has netted him a few million in PPV bonuses alone. Even a standard 10% cut of merchandise royalties would put him into millionaire territory, not to mention his downside which is into the $3 million territory at least!

I know there was an article floating about a while ago that placed Triple H as the highest earning, putting him at a personal fortune of $30 million. Although we have to consider that this is based upon his stock options with WWE and perhaps a joint held wealth with his wife.

wow that was great better than the other one. is there a vid of the entire pannel for that event.

rey mysterio wins the wwe champion ship!!!! great start to RAW.

Congrats to Rey. He pulled it out. No belt redesign though lol. My guess is that they're going to keep CM Punk off TV (like I called before) for a while. I could see for as long as Survivor Series.
