wow best match on smackdown was kane vs orton second best daniel bryan vs kieth slater the one man rock band < I hate this more than the miz.

I think Orton is in real need of a heel turn. When he first showed signs of turning face last year I was overjoyed because I had gotten sick of the same old stuff from him during his last heel turn. However a few months into the face turn, I noticed that he had essentially given up on being edgy and started to follow the Cena formula (five moves of doom, boring invincible hero, clean promos).

Randy Orton is an exceptional heel when he's kept fresh, his initial run as the "Legend Killer" was an example of how much heat he can gather. Along with his 2007-2008 heel run where he would give challengers a blatant low blow, slap referees, don't stop at the five count and play a brutal and illegal match strategy was great stuff.

WELL I think he seriously and really got hurt tonight in a big botchamania moment.
If I am wrong oh well, well see more of him but after that miss step I don't think so.

The thing about Orton as a heel is that he gets over so quickly that creative have no choice but to turn him face again. Then he still acts with that heel persona (he's still retained his Viper persona since Legacy split) and they don't know what to do with him as a face. He seems to be a real complex character. I also think he works best when he's chasing after a title, not when he's champion for whatever reason. His reigns almost never end up being interesting.

I'm reading Chris Jericho's second book. It's a lot better than the first IMO, though I am tired of reading his bragging about his drunken exploits.

I think Chris' sense of humor comes through as tongue in cheek with most of those drunken stories myself. I agree the second book is better than the first book. Looking forward to the hat trick book coming out next year...or 2013, I can't remember now.

I think he was answering the title in the title:

He's watching WWE.

P.S.: Am I the only one who finds it ironic that timothy doesn't understand another person's short, seemingly unrelated post?

I still need to read both of Jericho's books. I'm ridiculously behind on wrestling books. The last one I read was Mick Foley's third late last year.

I agree that Orton is difficult for creative to get their heads around. Complex would definitely be the right word for it, and I never would have imagined saying that when he was probably my least-favorite talent on the roster between 2003-2006.

I'm looking forward to seeing the tag team lists. Are we doing 80's, 90's and 00's again?

I don't know about doing tag team lists, but I'll give it a bash with the 00's.

1. The Dudleys/Team 3D (WWF/NJPW/NWA/TNA)
2. Rey Bucanero And Ultimo Guerrero (CMLL)
3. The Murder/Motor City Machine Guns (Indie/ROH/NJPW/TNA)
4. Gedo And Jado (NJPW)
5. Chris Hero And Claudio Castagnoli (Indie/Chikara/CZW/ROH)
6. Edge And Christian (WWF)
7. The Briscoe Brothers (Indie/ROH)
8. The Hardy Boyz (WWF)
9. America's Most Wanted (NWA/TNA)
10. Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson (NJPW)

The FCW/NXT names are pretty terrible. I'd love to know who comes up with them and their reasoning behind their choice in names. The worst ones have to be the following...

Husky Harris (Windham Rotunda)
Michael McGillicutty (Joe Hennig)
Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson, which we could just attribute to laziness!)
Justin Gabriel (Paul Lloyd)
Lucky Cannon (Jonathon Emminger)
Brodus Clay (George Murdoch)
Darren Young (Fred Rosser)

Now I know that Vince (who is of Irish descent) has a penchant for Irish names (Hogan being an example) but in the case of Lucky Cannon for example, where is the logic in it? He might be lucky, but he's not a cannon, what is a lucky cannon?! Then you have Husky Harris. What exactly is "husky" about him? He doesn't resemble an Alaskan breed of dog does he? His voice isn't throaty and raspy in a unique and defined way. It makes no sense I tell ya!!

Yes but Brodus Clay sounds pretty good and is much better than oh say, The Goon, Bastion Booger, Isaac Yankum and of course Mantaur. Great names one and all
