wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

WHAT? :p

I really cannot enjoy IMPACT/TNA whatever they are calling themselves now...it is worse than WCW in the final days. I am kinda bored with WWE now. :(
 
timothy...there's no real need to remind people when Raw, Impact Wrestling, and Smackdown are on. Wrestling fans will already know ;) My cable is fixed now so maybe I'll check out Impact Wrestling...probably not though.

I didn't enjoy his first as much as some seemed to, but I've got the second on the way.

Haven't followed WWE since 2004 so I'll probably get a bit lost, but it's better than nothing.

Much more interested in Paul Heyman's book, which is out late this year.
 
His second book was excellent. I was surprised that I liked it better than his first book.


Updated Slammiversry PPV line up!!! Perhaps the only Impact Wrestling PPV that I actually look forward to every year. I am pulling for Mr. Anderson to take the title from Sting. I really don't like how Impact Wrestling writes their World Title chases. They're not like WWE.

Not a bad lineup at all.

The tag match in particular should be excellent. It's such a shame that Sabin suffered that terrible injury, especially as Shelley had only just returned from a long time out.

AJ vs Ray should be excellent, too. TNA cops a lot of flack for their choices, and rightly so, but the move to break up 3D and have Ray as a heel has worked brilliantly. He's an outstanding character and one of the few who can get genuine heat.

Angle and Jarrett always put on good matches, but that feud has been going on for far too long.
 
Why is it that there are on occasion matches where Kurt has to put up his Olympic Gold Medal? I know both companies have done promos amping up how important his Gold Medal is to him (as it should be) and coming up with stipulations to have it on the line, but this always seems to be a fall back plan when they can't think of anything else. The most creative stipulation and perfectly executed was when Kurt was forced to shave his head. We all know (unless you're a mark) that Angle isn't losing his real gold medal. How many duplicate props have TNA come up with since his time here I wonder?
 
did'nt kurt try an olympic come back a while back and failed?

I don't know if it is unnecessary...but I wonder if timothy has any thoughts about 'Smackdown' prior to it airing. :)
 
jinder is awesome wrestler and he's turn khali into a heel. you think they'll go after the unified tag titles?
 
Some news. Mick Foely has reported to have asked for his release from Impact Wrestling. No idea if he's "Officially" gone or has to do with the angle about him being "fired". Apparently there was a disagreement between him and the company about creative. Surprise. Surprise. Impact Wrestling has also removed Suicide's bio from their website.

Since I'm not really a regular viewer any more...are they still using that ranking system Bischoff and Hogan instituted when they first signed on and seemed not to pay any attention to whatsoever?
 
I am not sure if there using any knida ranking of tna wrestlers any more. as fore mick
I am hoping he'll go back to the wwe and be inducted into next years hall of fame. and become a commentator on smackdown with booker t and josh.
 
The ranking system lasted about three weeks. I don't think they liked the fan voting much, especially as Wolfe won it twice in a row IIRC.

Foley's contract was due to expire in a few months anyway, and he said a while ago that he wasn't going to renew. He got upset when they didn't show footage of him with Jon Stewart IIRC.
 
and what is this ultimate warrior and hulk hogan fued? starting anew do you think he'll make a come back on tna?
 
^ Given Hogan's response to that rant of Warrior's I'm guessing not.

Remember Mick left WWE when he was a color-commentator because he was pissed the hell off that Vince kept barking in his headset every five minutes. His first TNA promo was a lash out about this, almost a pseudo-shoot promo IIRC. Vince has shown to be begrudging forgiving about stuff like that though so who knows.
 
Foley is supposed to be in Oak Lawn, Il at a local wrestling event on June 18th. Also scheduled to appear is Bret Hart. I will see if I can get there and give a report.

Timothy, Hogan has always been like that. The Ego pinned the man a long time ago.
