oh forgot this thursday Hogan and STING retuns so hopefully tna will
get better.

Honestly aside from the Rock guest hosting (I'm sure he'll be involved in the main event some how, just like I feel Shawn will be involved in UT/HHH) there isn't any one match that I'm interested in yet. Had Sting actually signed with the WWE...that would have obviously changed my mind. Even after HHH's comments that the only thing he has left to do is snap the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak I still don't care for that match. The two of them really don't have any past history and as I was pointed out earlier today their last match was ten years ago.

Cole/Lawler feels like Vince/Bret Hart from last year to me. Only I doubt there will be anyone ganging up on Cole this time. I foresee Lawler winning this match. I agree that the Smackdown side will probably fill over time.

There's only one reason I have to tuning into Raw next week. The Return of The Rattlesnake. It's his hometown, I expect the reaction will be larger than when the Rock came back. I've been watching old Stone Cold clips a lot lately and yes, He was my favorite wrestler when I was getting into it at the end of the Attitude Era. Wish I was a year early though so I could see the feud between him and McMahon. Those clips of that (The hospital, the suit, stuff like that) were hilarious.

I posted the spoilers to Impact last week earlier in the thread...and timothy really, must you go emoticon crazy all the time? It's annoying.

I was also gonna add that I really didn't like HHH essentially burying Sheamus like that. Guess another match isn't gonna happen. So much for King Sheamus.

I haven't seen wrestling in many years and to be honest don't find it interesting these days...but I saw the stuff with The Rock & Cena and it had me rolling.

Wrestlers I liked from WWE & WCW...Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Kane, Edge, Batista, Brock Lesnar, John Cena...Goldberg, Sting, Raven, Wrath & Hogan.

TNA does look like WCW v2.

I was watching some old TNA stuff on youtube (back when it was considered cutting edge and entertaining) and laughed my ass off when I saw the Kings of Wrestling angle with Hall, Nash, and Jarrett. TNA seems to be desperate to recreate that old nWo magic.

Looks like Jericho is doing DWTS this year. So, he's done with WWE for the duration.

I sincerely wish that TNA would create a worthwhile product because it would only serve to create competition between themselves and WWE, and both products would improve as a result.

The very fact that they have all that talent that all those guys who were in WCW during the final days who apparently didn't actually learn from their mistakes just screams that they must be intentionally shooting themselves in the foot.

Agreed. Vince has always been best where there is someone or something pushing him creatively. When TNA was in it's heydey and before it decided to become a WCW copy there seemed to be some competition. Isn't Russo their head writer? I remember reading when Hogan and Bishchoff signed Russo was already there or joined shortly afterwards. It wouldn't surprise me with all the crap going on there now. Particularly the Jeff/Kurt/Karen angle right now that sounds right up Russo's alley.

Russo started in late 06 which is when the product turned to shit.

is any one watch nxt on wwe.com or ring of honor ? or is nxt dead please say it is .
Tough enough is way better program and I am glad it's back . It looks like a great cast . STONE COLD returns next week on raw and HULK HOGAN returns this thursday on tna. looking forward to wrestlemania in a month . and smackdown this friday can't wait . also if anyone is currious espnc reruns the american werstleing association .

^You must be really excited about Hogan returning to Impact because you've mentioned it twice now on this page alone.

Been watching WWF/WWE religiously for 24 years now. Piper is god, btw.

TNA sucks, my god, I have no idea how anyone can watch it at this point. It was good a few years ago but it just got so atrocious since then. Anyone remember when they made Abyss a huge fucking pussy and Hogan gave him that ring? Wow, TNA, just wow.

WWE has been enjoyable for a while now (Raw in particular). I'm still pissed that Barrett was sent to SD because SD isn't really that great (I hate Rey Mysterio, man, HATE) overall for me.

Anyways, I am currently laughing at all the people who actually think the Rock is going to stick around for a long time. Sorry to tell you but, after WM, I wouldn't doubt he'll appear less and less until he goes away again. All these big names returning (Trish, Rock, Undertaker, Triple H, Austin) is just for the WM hype (and Tough Enough).

Mad that Alex was 'fired' last night. Thank goodness WWE firings don't always last but please come back, Alex <3

I have nothing against Hogan and was a fan...but at some point you would think these guys would give it a rest. He has made enough money...you would think and wrestling is about youth...it is great to see icons every now and again...but I could care less about Hogan now.

Not to mention that Hogan's body is probably crap right now health wise. These guys are addicted to the life style though and fans still go nuts for them. As for how people can still like TNA, oh my, you guys should take a look at some of the youtube comments for various wrestling videos. Flame wars about how TNA is the best thing since sliced bread and WWE is pure crap. Oh and everyone seems to hate Cena for some reason. I've never really understood fan hatred and division regarding Cena.

I saw one comment...I think it was on YT...hell it may have been in this thread...someone said that fans were dumb founded a few weeks ago watching The Rock ripping apart their hero John Cena.

you know his wife killed him in the devorce . and before tna He almost killed himself.
I am a bigger fan of wwe than tna . But when I like a product I stick with it unless they realy do something to piss me off . (marvel cival war being one of the things that realy pissed me off and killing the human torch off the ff.) . But normaly I stay loyal to a product or franchise that I love.

Not sure about that. I think he lost a lot due to his divorce and his son's legal problems. This may be one of the reasons he's still around. I pretty much lost interest in watching the WWF in 2006 after their ECW revival thing. That was the last big storyline they did that actually intrigued me (and the last time they had a roster that I didn't find mostly bland).

At the time, I very much wanted to continue being a wrestling fan. I tried switching to TNA and getting behind it 100% because they had a great roster (particularly the X-division guys), but once they got Angle and that old WWF writer Russo (which should have been a positive turning point for them), it just got worse and worse (with the occasional flash of potential) since then, so I gave up.

Also, I can't ever completely get behind a company called "TNA". What a lame name. They will never be taken seriously. "Ring of Honor" is such a cooler name. I find it more interesting to keep up with wrestling news and discussion of what's going on instead of actually watching it these days. It was nice to see The Rock again. I loved that whole era of 1996-2001 WWF and WCW, although WCW had a pretty steady decline for the last four years there.

This is why these guys need to be smart with their money and find other ways secure a their financial future...like anyone else.

WCW started it's decline when Russo was hired in my opinion. Even before that I think the nWo storyline was stretched out for way too long and suffered from it's different factions just to prolong it. They probably didn't have a back up plan for anything else or a significant way to end the storyline. It kind just fell apart. The last few months before Shane McMahon appeared on Nitro were just awful.

I loved nWo in general but the one thing I hated about them was that EVERYONE was in the group, it was so ridiculous. Every match had at least one member from nWo.

BUFF BAGWELL FOR LIFE
