wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

tonight we have:

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: TNA PLEASE BE GOOD :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I just wish the would bring reaction back that's the best
part of TNA programing.

No Impact for me, Canucks game. I did like Reaction. They reduced it to a two minute segment at the end of Impact which sucks.

come on tna is better than hockey right? at least set you're dvr for it.
I have to cause of new job. argh so tommarrow will be impact and smackdown.
and today on attack of the show was fast five and ufc . go figure that one out.

TNA is not worth recording dude, and I'm Canadian hockey is life up here!

Scott Steiner is dumb. His promos are baffling.

^ Yes. I think Jeff Jarrett summed up TNA nicely in his quote at the end of the show "It's crap!" lol. How many times are they going to have run in finishes??? Sigh.

I remember when I lived in Canada (I was born in Alberta but raised in B.C. for most of the thirteen years of my life), and the Canucks were in the finals against the Rangers. There were some very, very sad fourth-graders at the end of that series.

TNA has been showing some signs of life lately. I'm not entirely sure why. It's just been entertaining (to me) over the last few weeks.

I'm not going to lie. I'm happy whenever Jarrett is on TV. His obscenely long world title runs aside I've always liked him.

The same cannot be said for Scott Steiner. I've never liked him. I wasn't even all that big on his days with Rick (who was actually a pretty good talent in his day).

Jeff's tweets on the Royal Wedding make him sound dumb. Ahhh yes, the '94 Cup run and inevitable loss against the Rangers. That was a great summer. I did catch bits and pieces of TNA during commercials of the hockey game. I can't get over just how vastly different it's production values are compared with the WWE's. It's jarring the differences. I get wanting to be different. I don't understand though why you'd want to produce a crappy looking show week after week. I'm tired of the run in finishes as well. That reeks of Russo's work.

I thought he was a pretty entertaining heel in WCW, first as the glory hog of the Steiner Brothers team, then when he first became 'Big Poppa Pump' with the nWo. The match in which he singlehandedly beat Buff Bagwell and Kevin Nash without ever tagging in Rick because Nash was showboating to the crowd while he pinned Bagwell was a classic, in my opinion. The problem is, once he re-invented himself with the Big Poppa Pump character circa 1997, it never evolved.

So he's been doing the same character for like 14 years now, and it's stale. Even a great character (and it wasn't that great in the first place) couldn't remain fresh that long. His last WWE run one was a dismal failure. Outside of the context of the nWo, his character is dull. He and Buff Bagwell were a hilarious tag team, though, and his feud in TNA with Samoa Joe had its moments, like him calling Joe a "fat bastard" for not having veins in the arm like him.
