wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I thought this article was of note. It discusses the current state of WWE business ventures. Highlights include:

-The WWE dropping wrestling from it's name and simply being known as WWE
-2012 still being targeted to launch the proposed WWE TV
-Lack of a heir discussed, although wide speculation is that Steph and Trips will take on things when Vince retires or passes away

It's been commented on for a few years that Stephanie is apparently a lot more into the business than Shane is especially on the creative side. If he can avoid the wrestling cliche of the top wrestler/promoter still pushing himself well past his prime (ala Verne Gagne) the E could do a lot worse than to have Hunter in charge.

Not to mention the fact that Shane is no longer working for the company, yes. I think it's pretty obvious that things are being set up for Steph to take things over. I don't have much of a problem with that. I've been a fan of hers since she debuted. Like others I wasn't fond of the McMahon/Helmsley era, thought it was another example of a storyline going on for too long. She's a great heel. As for her involvement on the business side of things, I know she is heavily involved with booking and writing.

One thing I thought interesting is that Vince is quoted about WWE being at the top of the game of television production. No bones about that. They've excellent production values. This is something that they're competition has failed to grasp or master over the years. It's one thing to have a distinctive, different surface look, but it's something entirely else when that look makes you seem like an amateur wrestling product and that's what TNA shows remind me of. I wish they hadn't got rid of their six sided ring. I thought that was a staple of TNA.

Just for fun...how about some spot calling!!! The best one is near the end in the Rey/Eddie match. Pure awesomeness.

I remember in one of the Rumble's somebody hitting Jericho with a chair and Jericho very audibly and obviously saying "again".

did anybody catch all of what hogan said at the end tonight . all I got was you son of bitch and then there was something else he said about next week .
He should've known not to trust MR.ANDERSON aka the ass hole !!! and I think the angel / jerret fued is brewing greatly .

He said: Whatcha gonna do brotha!?!?!? When The Hulkamania's Arthritis flares up on youuuuu!?!?!?

And then Mr. Anderson said: Miiiiiiiiister Kennnnnnnnnne cough cough deeeeeerrrrrrsssssssoooooonnnnmm!!!!!!!

TNA was on tonight? WHAT?!!! No one cares? WHAT!??? Everyone should check out Botchamania on youtube and laugh really hard! WHAT? I said check out Botchamania! TNA is in it a ton! WHAT?

I tried to watch the opening segment of TNA last night and barely made it to the first commercial break. The piped in or edited in cheering and booing when the audianece was obviously not caring was horrible. Thursday night Thunder was a superior product and they would open a show with High Voltage vs Villano IV & V.

That brings back some memories of fantastic WCW matches like Sub Zero, er...Glacier against Disco Inferno.

Seriously...you guys want a laugh...check out Botchamania. I posted a sample video earlier with the calling spots vid. Just follow the rest of the videos after that. I spent almost five hours watching the entirety of them haha.

Another funny story I remember was about Ken Shamrock and his on screen sister "Ryan Shamrock", played by someone named Alicia (Something - I forgot her last name). Apparently he said something to her like, "BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER" loud enough for the camera to hear, then (more softly?), "Hit me.".

Triple H and Undertaker were both fined an undisclosed amount for their chair shots on Sunday night. LOL.

Okay I'm gonna be nice and post the Best of Botchamania 1, 2, and 3 here for you guys. In this installment we get to see why Brock Lesner is a douche and why he got a reputation for hurting people during his stay in the WWE, particularly Kurt Angle who probably busted up his neck the first couple of times thanks to botches from Lesner. We also see Kevin Nash botch a power bomb on Paul Wright and other fun stuff.

I am surprised given how many of the mistakes these guys have and can make...they don't flat out kill each other.

That's the consensus I came to when watching these. There's some pretty bad neck injuries that you can pretty much tell right away in later vids. One infamous one between Jerry Lynn and RVD where Jerry almost breaks his neck and RVD stomps on him and they finish the match. There's another where I think Konan hurts his back and calls for a doctor against Lex Luger but Luger who's clueless stomps on him, brings him back into the ring and then Torture Racks him lol.

And the Buff Bagwell injury is in there as well. Of course if you do this stuff several times a week like any job you will make mistakes. These mistakes however can get you or another guy seriously injured. Really did Nash think he could Powerbomb the BigShow, really??

superstars this week realy good had three matches and all three were realy good. up next last night's smackdown.

Considering Nash's ego, yes I'm sure he thought that he could power bomb Wright. There is a very short clip where Kevin exclaims while climbing the top rope during an introduction as Diesel "I'm the shit!!!" and has a big dopey grin on his face. Botchamania also has the incident from WCW Nitro Spring Break where Hall and Nash were both drunk on the show and dive into the pool while escaping from the Giant. You can hear Kevin talk about it.
