I just watched Jericho's segment...OMG that was maybe the best thing I've seen since Punk's promos back in the summer!

If you can call it a segment...
I will admit that I'm pretty intrigued by this new character that Jericho is playing, but it's not exactly roping me in and that's probably down to the minimal airtime that Jericho has recieved since returning.
I really don't think the nWo will return, however the possibility for the formation of a stable influenced by the nWo is still there.I'm intensely curious for Sunday Night now. Last time the "end" was promised...the new world order returned (yeah I'm still naively holding on to hope!!!)
If I had to make a prediction - Chris Jericho will win the Royal Rumble and assert himself as a fully blown heel. He'll then go on to challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. This is of course the most predictable course of action, but WWE isn't exactly doing the best job of highlighting the other favourites.
Randy Orton - Been out with an injury for the last few weeks after putting over virtually everyone on Smackdown for the last couple of months.
Sheamus - Spent the last couple of months trading victories with Wade Barrett and squashing Jinder Mahal.
Wade Barrett - Spent the last couple of months cutting terrible promos on Raw and trading victories with Sheamus.
Mick Foley - Turned up and announced his intention to enter the Royal Rumble before being shot down by John Laurinaitis and then getting his chance after Laurinaitis changed his mind this week.
The Miz - R Truth got the better of him in each of their encounters over the past few weeks. Looks like he could be in the midst of a humbling period.
R Truth - Spent the last couple of weeks getting the better of Miz and adjusting his character to an atypical comedy face.
Of course, no one could win the Royal Rumble. It's never been done before, but it could happen if WWE was inclined to do so. When it comes down to the final five, they could do a spot where they all go over the top and hit the floor at the same time. Johnny L then comes out and says that they've had co-winners before but five winners is pushing it so no-one wins the Royal Rumble and instead they'll have a 6 man elimination match at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.
ETA: I'm starting to wonder if Brodus Clay pissed off someone in the office. Sure, his gimmick is entertaining and you have to give him credit for really getting into it, but it's not something that anybody could take to the main event. What WWE has with Brodus Clay is a monster heel who can wrestle with an agility uncommon to workers of his size. He reminds me of Bam Bam Bigelow and I wonder if WWE saw this when they initially pushed him as the runner up of NXT and then as Alberto Del Rio's bodyguard. Like all WWE first impressions, they can change extremely quickly when a worker breaks the WWE code or the execs get bored of them.
