I've just done a search to see what Jeff was actually caught with...
*262 Vicodin prescription pills (without a legal prescription)
*180 Soma prescription pills (again, without a legal prescription)
*555 milliliters of Anabolic Steroid (without a legal prescription)
*A residual amount of Cocaine (which could be anything up to a gram or two)
*Various Drug Paraphernalia (likely consisting of bongs, hyperdermic needles, etc)
Going by the normal North Carolina state laws (which I've also been looking had), Jeff would have recieved...
A minimum of 45 Days up to 1 year in jail for the possession of Cocaine (excluding fine).
A minimum of 45 Days up to 1 year in jail for the possession of Anabolic Steroids (excluding fine).
A minimum of 45 Days up to 1 year in jail for the possession of Vicodin without a legal prescription (excluding fine).
A minimum of 45 Days up to 1 year in jail for the possession of Somas without a legal prescription (excluding fine).
Now we have to also assume that the intent to supply was applied to the possession of the Steroids, Somas and Vicodin. That means that Jeff would recieve 3-8 months in prison for each.
Had Jeff not been in a financial position to defend himself, he could have been sentenced to 6 years in prison with a large fine and a further 3 years probation.
