WTF is up with PHOTOBUCKET

It's a case of fixing something that ain't broke.
Yesterday I was able to select the option to take an image form a web page. I could do three at a time.

Just now I went back, and since the last time I was there, I could only upload images from my hard drive.

WTF? I mean I am not a fan of downloading more than I need to, so I like finding images on the net, and just pasting the jpeg URL in photobucket and modifying it.

But now I can't even see an option that lets me just page an image URL, so now if I wnat to so something I have to find an image, download it and clutter my folders, an then reupload it. Then I can modify it.

Anyone else have this problem?

I make a different folder for stuff I want to download off the net and then delete when I am done with the image.

It is strange they have changed it...though I never used that option.

I just don't like downloading too much. I don't turst every sourse that has a good pic I wnat to use for an avatar or image

As far as I can remember, I've never paid for membership and I've been using Firefox. I haven't actually tried uploading something from a URL today, but the option is there along with all of the others.

Ok, I see the option now, but the other day it was all crazy and only had from what FSM described.

When I go to my Photobucket account, it gives me the following options:

Upload images and videos from:

• my computer

• web url

• mobile phone

• email

Don't know what the problem is with yours.

Photobucket has been acting wonky for a few months now. Like not dl-ling the full size images when you try to enlarge the screen-corrected size ones.

I just checked mine and I have the full 5 options of computer, web URL, mobile phone, email, and ask toolbar, BUT I do know what you were talking about. A few days ago I only had the one option and the uploading section looked different, it was green and very simple and basic looking as opposed to having a blue rounded, sleeker looking button. Perhaps they are doing something with their servers and have to switch to a different programming on the servers one at a time to fix something or update something or who knows.

The Web URL option disappeared for a while.

Photobucket has been randomly screwing up for weeks now. It's getting on my nerves.

Photobucket ALWAYS changes stuff every now and them. I remember a few years ago the started this upgrade rampage that every week they had something different on, lol.

Now, I just checked my account and it has changed again indeed, but you still can upload pictures from URL's. Just click on "More upload tools" and options to upload com computer, e-mail, URL and mobile phone will be there.

I had been up for two dyas when I looked at it last night, so I didn't notice it. I just saw this big green button in the middle and that wasn't what I wanted.

Still, they hide it over on the right, and that makes no sense.
